This song reminds me of the blues dance we used to go to in the 70s ..
I was a teenager 16, 17 ...and this record was a coming of age tune ..

I have a 12" extended vinyl version of this, that I bought some time around 1979. I love it, but it's a bit worn now. It would be nice to get the extended version on CD.

My soulmate Hans bought this when we were kids in boyscouts, in the Virgin Basement store on Oxford Street. We played it on a plastic pick-up at my guesthouse, in a small pink room overlooking blue Harwich Bay, Essex (we were only visiting, hailing from Haarlem, Holland). We were too young to smoke pot, otherwise we probably woulda. I hadn't heard it since but hunted it down about a year ago. To me, this is the only feasible version of this song. Great work indeed.
