Overall Meaning

I tried to listen to as many present music and present singers though im a senior citizen and i do not have a bias in Bts. Bee Gees and Eagles are still my favorite band/group but i do agreed with those musicians i watched here in youtube who confirmed Jin has the most stable voice in Bts group.
Epiphany was a beautiful song , a masterpiece i would say which deserves much more likes and votes.
Sometimes i wonder, does it has to take Jin to leaves BTS for acting career before the bts army come to realize that they should had done justice ( more deserving votes ) to Jin solo ballad numbers such as Epiphany etc

There is an evergreen oldie song " Everything i own " by

Jin's ability to mix his different registers is so so good. JK's solo songs are always beautlfully low and nostalgic, and he really does sing well in English.

And I actually think the lighting complements the cozy tones of the songs!

Jungkook is adding extra raspyness in the end of phrase by adding pressure and closely tighting his vocal chords. That adds so much rawness to the song. This shows how much versatile singer Jungkook is. Give him song of any genre whether it be pop, rnb, jazz, hiphop, edm, rock, ballad. He can sing in any genre.

Jin's voice is always so angelic. I love the breathiness in 'Yours'. One of my favorite from him is still the vulnerable and beautiful 'Tonight', I tear up everytime I listen to it. Also JK. This man...he broke my heart, this cover of 'Falling' made me cry. He put so much emotion and pain into it and his voice is incredible. When he covered ballads before, 'Nothing like us' or '2U' etc. his voice was so breathy and soothing...still is but when he's using his lower register, he sounds so much more mature. I wonder if he's using a similar technique to when he sang 'Dynamite' (even if this one is high pitched)? I don't know enough about singing to tell but he's so versatile in his vocals...he's fascinating and always exploring and evolving. That's so impressive and admirable for a singer who already achieved so much, I think. And he posted it on the date of their last concert as well. Somehow 'Falling' resonates with a lot of things that Jungkook said in the past, and ever since the pandemic, especially about loosing oneself... It feels the same as him singing 'All of my life' when they were considering disbanding, or 'At my worst' after his two years hiatus from social medias after everything that happened to him in 2019 and 2020, he dedicated '10,000 hours' to Armies...he just has a way to express himself through music and songs he chooses to sing...this is something I find quite special and precious about him. I wrote too long but Jinkook both blessed our ears...

Jin's Yours is an OST for the K-drama Jirisan. Jirisan is a mountain in South Korea. When I heard the song, especially thr ratatatata part, it seems to me that it's sung by someone who' s by himself in the mountain at night. He's loneliness and longing for someone is conveyed beautifully in the lyrics and in Jin's voice.
Jungkook's version of Falling is so emotional that it's brought me to tears even though I'm not really going through anything depressing right now. And I don't if it's just me but I always I realize that I hold my breath whenever I reach that part with the long high note from JK at the bridge of the song. It sounds emotionally painful.

Jungkook has matured a lot in the last year or so lol his maturity really comes through in falling.. bc he somehow made this cover feel like he wrote this song himself…. I cried the first time I heard it…. He’s so so so good and finally starting to be confident enough to share something like this with us and his techniques are masterful… absolutely flawless and his emotion hits hard…. I love how he’s so close to the mic in the lower parts…. It’s like he’s whispering into it … it’s so beautiful

Not sure if you noticed in older song but when the key of the song was lower bc the songs were mainly rap as the main parts and the vocalists with the choruses, bridges and more like that and all the rappers have deep voices…. Like I need u, jk uses this same kinda rasp with his mid tone and it’s more natural for him… when the songs became higher bc the vocal parts were the main sections and jin and jimin tend to sing really well higher and they kept improving and going higher and higher then it made jungkook sing a bit higher than natural to him bc vs a baritone and so he covered the low notes most of the time. Songs like war of hormones, boy in love, century 21 girl, or stuff like that he def uses a similar technique and it’s something I loved when he did… I miss his kid to deeper tones with the rasp… def hits different 💜 have you heard “decalcomania” that jk wrote and posted a demo for…. It def has this exact style of the breathy and then but more power but it’s only 1 min and he deleted it from Spotify lol but so good

Agree completely - YOURS is everything we expect of a K drama ballad except it's refreshingly next-level... a masterpiece version. Loved the unexpected turns in the composition (like you said) and the understated instrumentals for most of the song. Also the 'ratatata' instead of 'lalala'. It does sound like a lullaby at first but feels sadder later on, like he's realizing no one can hear him and he's just trying to comfort himself. Some people think the "ratata" is meant to echo the tap-tap of Morse code, since this drama is about mountain rangers who respond to distress calls/do search and rescue operations. Beautiful song sung to perfection... Jin's voice is so unique, not just through vocal techniques but the very timbre of his voice itself.

I really liked what you said...so many unexpected turning points. Indeed, Jin's singing was a rollercoaster of his voice techniques, tonality and emotions which was really amazing. And it truly fits the atmosphere or storyline of the kdrama Jirisan. It has a lot of things and mysteries in it. And the la dda dda dda that sounded like a lullaby was really a signal for help or SOS. I suggest that you also watch the official MV in the ASTORY channel. The video showed the clippings of the kdrama which is so fitting to the song. Jin sang the song just like he was telling the story of the kdrama.

"Raatatata" is Morse code which means SOS or someone who asks for help. Yours is the OST of the drama Jirisan , The plot of this drama Jirisan is about looking for a lost person on a mountain, and someone gives them a hint on where to find the missing person. So overall if Jin sings the "Ra ta ta ta" part in high to low notes, it may indicate the person's emotions when asking for help.

Both so good...I feel like Jin's song could be used as a technique text book, besides the song being emotional. Harry Style's original song is quite exceptional, but I am, of course, biased....JK makes everything his! We should be happy that Harry Styles gave us this gem, though. I remember hearing Harry sing it for the first time, and I absolutely bawled. It's def worth looking up his video for it or his performance at the Brit Music Awards, which was live. I have listened to all his covers and not just once but this one is definitely my favorite for now! I loved the original as well. But with JK covering it became even more beautiful! The lighting actually looks fabulous, you look great. 😘 I cry every time I hear Falling. It really feels like he is talking just to you. I feel, definitely not confirmed, that he was very sad at the last online concert, he talked about losing his passion because he couldn’t see and feel ARMY, then he released this cover. I love the lower register. Always takes me somewhere else. He has killed me, I am dead.
And then Jin, the emotional soulful voice, sending out an sos. Amazjin !!!! He is such an awesome storyteller. Just epic. He so completely captures the feeling of the show. Jin's voice is so good for ballads, ballads were made for him i think, and his falsetto is so beautiful omg i just love his voice so much. JK's voice is so good and with a lower register it's amazing, i think he sings like this in many of his covers, both oh them transmit so much

Yes Jungkook ability versatile his voice how needed is amazing, and that's why he is the main vocalist in BTS, I love his voice and his heartfelt lyrics just blow you away, he put so many emotions in songs and yes Jungkook is very skilled and surprise everyone,😍🥰💜💜💜💜💜 I like Jin songs this well, he is good singer as well!🤗💜

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Welcome back. So glad you had a few minutes to hear these songs. =0) Hope school is going well. Hope your not overdoing it!!! I feel Jin did his best to showcase his voice in this song. I mean dang! I was getting hints about his range before this came out but in this song you really clearly see how talented he is. Glad he is feeling more confident to show us this. You should totally listen to this song and watch the kdrama trailer for it u will be in tears. The imagery and the song together chef's kiss! And he showcased his lower register which we don't hear that often. He sounded different because all of it was in a low octave. Harry Styles has a deeper voice. I think JK was trying to sing similarly. I hope you listen to the original of this it has an MV. JK is a big fan of Harry's. I heard Harry got like 100 or more likes on all his songs. You are one of my favourite YT’rs, you are so genuine, and you appreciate and understand our men - not that many reactors do.
I have loved Falling since Harry sang it live at the Brits - it’s a beautiful song. Jungkook has not changed the instrumental at all, but of course his vocal and his emotional interpretation are very much him - he does an outstanding job, IMO 💜💜
Jim’s new song is stunning, his voice sounds amazing too.
I’m very proud of these efforts - they are showing the world just how talented BTS are as individuals.

JK rarely trains with a vocal coach because he doesn't want to lose his unique style. So, a lot of his techniques and styles are self-taught. He has a video on YouTube where he talks about this.
