??? Why is no one talking about how incredibly vulnerable she went with this song?? She is describing how she selfishly took someone's virginity and how she regrets it.
"Someone left me in the way that I left you. It's how I understood." This is saying that someone also selfishly took her virginity and she thought that's how love worked. That's why she took his.

It's not just about virginity. It's generally about treating a guy badly. Listen to "Underneath" and then "Safe With Me". Those are essentially the prequels to this song, each on the same relationship.

I love that this song tells the other side of the story thats usually overlooked. The female who took advantage of the male. I admire JoJo for being honest. It sounds like she took advantage of a guy she was involved with and took his innocence, not really caring about his feelings in the moment. She got him drunk for his first time, took his virginity, and played with his emotions after the fact until she finally broke it off. Now she's singing about it, having reflected and wishing she could take it back or at least have done better by him. This album is dope! Im glad shes finally back. I missed her.
