Are gonna hate
It ain't there fault its there fate
Ain't a singer nigga naw I ain't drake
Tony da tiger ya I'm great
For Pete's sake let em find they way
Last thing I need another case
Second to none betta find your place
Corn flake niggaz frosted flake sweet
Sick and tired of niggaz tryna be me
Side walk niggaz tryna be street
I don't bang any more unless
They talking 60H3
Choose ur words wisely
You know who I be
If I handle things its neva handle Kindly big bad wolf you can always Find me take there advice
And never try and size me
Use to be blood til it was not enough
Betrayed to be tough but it was all a Bluff remove the cuffs free from da Cage
Tony da tiger rage greatly Unafraid Bloody bloody bloody wolf
Tony da tiger raised in da hood
Bloody bloody bloody wolf

The lyrics to Joana And The Wolf's song "Tiger" are centered around the idea of self-confidence and rising above negative influences. The first line "Bitches gonna fuck niggas" can be interpreted as a statement of inevitability, acknowledging that some people will always bring negativity into your life. This is followed by "are gonna hate, it ain't their fault, it's their fate", which suggests that while we can't control how others feel or behave, we can control our own reactions and choose to rise above their negativity. The refrain "Tony da tiger, yeah I'm great" serves as a confidence boost, reminding the listener to believe in themselves and their abilities.
The lyrics also touch on the struggle to be true to oneself while dealing with outside pressure to conform. Lines like "Sick and tired of niggaz tryna be me" and "choose your words wisely, you know who I be" suggest that the singer is used to people trying to imitate or copy them, and they are wary of those who try to do so. The line "Soft wet cereal niggaz be fruitloops" plays into the idea that some people who try to be like others are lacking in their own originality and substance. In the end, the singer asserts their identity and their value, declaring "I'm every they not dat they wished they could".

Saw her and the band at Guilfest 2011, and thought "What the Hell !!!" At first I was shocked, then I stayed and listened. Eventually, I didn't want to leave. The Band are great. She was incredible! Damn shame these guys don't have an album out. If you get the chance, you must see them live!!
