Joe Junior Lyrics

Rock, rock, rock, oh baby,
Rock, rock, rock, oh baby,
Rock, rock, rock, oh baby,
Rock, rock rock, oh baby

Rock 'n roll is here to stay,
It will never die
It was meant to be that way,
Though I don't know why
I don't care what people say,
Rock 'n roll is here to stay

(We don't care what people say,
Rock 'n roll is here to stay)

Rock 'n roll will always be
Our ticket to the end
It'll go down in history,
Just you watch, my friend
Rock 'n roll will always be,
It'll go down in history

(Rock 'n roll will always be,
It'll go down in history)

Everybody rock,
Everybody rock,
Everybody rock,
Everybody rock
Rock, roll, everybody rock

Everybody rock 'n roll,
Everybody rock 'n roll,
Everybody rock 'n roll
Everybody rock 'n roll,
Rock, roll, everybody rock 'n roll

Rock 'n roll is here to stay,
It will never die
It was meant to be that way,
Though I don't know why
I don't care what people say,
Rock 'n roll is here to stay

Rock 'n roll will always be
Our ticket to the end
It'll go down in history,
Just you watch, my friend
Rock 'n roll will always be,
It'll go down in history

If you don't like rock 'n roll,
Think what you've been missin'
But if you like to bop and strawl,
Come on down and listen
Let's all start to have a ball,
Everybody rock 'n roll

Rock, rock, rock, oh baby,
Rock, rock, rock, oh baby,
Rock, rock, rock, oh baby,
Rock, rock, rock, oh baby

Rock, rock, rock, oh baby
Rock, rock, rock, oh baby

I think Joe Junior is one of the best loved pop singers of HK but sadly so few people of the younger generation realize what a gem he is. I think he deserves greater recognition for his contribution to the HK pop music industry. I hope Joe Junior fans all over the world will continue to love and support him and share his songs with their offsprings.

Yes, I will continue love and support him as he and his band had given me and my friends so much joy during the days when we were young and restless.

A beautiful Joe Junior love song that stands the test of time. It has brought back so many fond memories of our carefree teenage years. Thanks for sharing.

Joe Junior deserves a lot more recognition from the media and the younger generation. He was one of the people who laid down the foundation for Western style pop music in Hong Kong. Without him and his peers, all we got was Cantonese songs by Cheng Kam Cheong, Tang Gei Chan!
