My Dad passed away on the 20th March 2023. He was part of Joe Loss and his Orchestra on Bass. He played several gigs with him. He was asked to be part of the orchestra full time but turned it down as I had popped into the world. ❤ Love you dad❤

A few years ago British charity shops (thrift stores) were full of old LPs by Joe Loss, presumably the generation that liked him in the 30s/40s/50s/60s were dying off. I wish I'd bought some then, but didn't like him at the time.
