In My Arms
John A. Walker Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

It seems we stood and talked like this before
We looked at each other in the same way then
But I can't remember where or when

The clothes you're wearing are the clothes you wore
The smile you are smiling you were smiling then
But I can't remember where or when
Some things that happened for the first time
Seem to be happening again

And so it seems that we have met before

And laughed before, and loved before
But who knows where or when

The nostalgia of what built up to this makes the show worth watching, but the momentum was carried purely politically.

I guess we can put this in the pile with the NFL and MBA.

The Sam Wilson is a good character, so is Bucky Barnes. None of the ones are going to stick (Carly, annoying Captain America)

Zemo is memeable which, I liked.

But the clear villain is not compelling in anyway. Understandably intentional. It leaves a cavity to hate the annoying captain America like a villain, though what he does is justified. This is just a slightly less obvious political jab. Leave everyone alone Disney.

The redeemable thing about the show is it not poorly assembled, regardless.

LOVE this show. It's diving into the deeper part of sam and bucky's story and it's giving us a lot of information about bucky we didn't know before about bucky and sam. I love how they brought john walker in as this humble soilder who's very kind and smart and noble and 2-3 episodes later, he kills an innocent man in front of hundreds of people. I also love Isaiah Bradley and I think he deserves more praise but I hope we do see more of him. I also love how this addresses racism and I do think that's why sam gave the shield up because I don't think that the world was ready for a black Captain America. I do think Wanda and Johns's story are similar because there was that person, their best friend, and when they aren't there they go into darkness. I also adore Sharon carter and I think Emily Von Camp does an amazing job portraying her. I hope this isn't the last we see of her. Overall, AMAZING

I am giving this show a perfect score because of how the fleshed out the characters in a very compelling way. I thought at first it was another buddy cop tv show but I was wrong, this more than just that or maybe not even that. Given how superheroes we've seen didn't actually fleshed out much of the human side of the heroes, this show exactly does it perfectly. Another amazing Marvel TV show.

I’ve heard some grumbling that it’s “woke”. And trust me, I get turned off by woke programming as much as anyone. But I think Falcon and Winter Soldier is actually wonderfully crafted. It’s realistic. These people don’t exist in a world without a history of racial strife. They address some of the logical existential questions that will arise should a Black man take up the iconic mantle of Captain America, but they in no way beat you over the head with it. This story isn’t about wokeness or agenda. It’s really just diving into the lives of Bucky and Sam and some of the demons and obstacles they face. Fleshing out their characters. Fleshing out their bond. These two are easily my new favorite bromance. Great show. I’m a little bored by The Flag Smashers, you can tell that story arc has been rewritten or tinkered with in some way, but John Walker and Zemo more than make up for my lack of interest in Karli and her crew.

U.S Agent

They were saying loki is woke to even though they only mentioned he was bi once and the storyline didn't even revolve around it

This show, really stands out from other Marvel content, First of all, It's more violent than other Marvel Content from past year. I most definitely don't mean this, in a bad way, but rather it gives a furthermore better perspective into the show, without holding back as much, in certain scenarios.

In my opinion, I enjoy the plot, for what it is. It makes sense for what the Flag Smashers are fighting for, but it also makes you question the reality, and the extent to which they do, what they do.

The ending of Ep. 4, came as a incredible shock to me, but in a good way. The cliffhanger, in which leads perfectly into Episode 5. My personal fav episodes, by f a r , are #4 and #5. The consequences, of previous actions are played out, a real reality check is given, and somewhat portrays a time of racism in American History, nonetheless Episode #5 is flawless in my opinion. Everything from past Marvel Content, especially some plot holes from Civil War, are now filled up, and it all comes full circle.

Excited to see, what will happen next week, with the finale.

Me and my family are really enjoying this show. It’s got a great plot and good characters, when they introduced the new ‘captain America’ I was like- dude this guy has to be evil. The whole show got me waiting for the next episode, really love it. It’s nice to learn more about the Falcon and winter soldiers back stories, and I really like the friendships they form.

I knew the new captain America was evil, first look at his face and is guesses it 😂. My sister hates his character cause she’s so used to the old captain America, and she was glad when he was deprived from his shield. All in all, it’s a wonderful show, so if you’re considering watching it I think you should. I also advise Wandavision.
