Déjà vu
John Klemmer Lyrics

This is insane
All you did was say hello
Speak my name
Feeling your love
Like a love I used to know
Long ago.

How can it be
You're a different space and time
Come to me.
Feel like I'm home
In a place I used to know
Long ago
Deja vu -
Could you be the dream that I once knew
Is it you
Deja vu -
Could you be the dream that might come true
Shining through

I keep remembering me
I keep remembering you
Deja vu
This is devine
I've been waiting all my life
Filling time
Looking for you
Nights were more than you could know
Long ago

Come to me now
We don't have to dream of love
We know how
Somewhere before
It's as if I've loved you so
So long ago
Deja vu -
Could you be the dream that I once knew
Is it you
Deja vu -
Could you be the dream that might come true?
Shining through
I keep remembering me

I keep remembering you
Deja vu

Greek Salad

John Klemmer is simply underrated! Why doesn't this rendition have a million plus views? :(

Stones Jones

if everything had a million views where some generic being is again saying the cliché statement thats something is underrated and deserves more views, then whole human kind needs to triple up on their time spent watching youtube vids...and keep watching shit on loop, to crack up the numbers...all....so people like Greek Salad can feel more secure about their own music taste, and feel they are in a large group.

Stop being a kid.. grow up and focus on the music and the people that already enjoy it like you. Stop focussing on something needing a million views..it is ridiculous and tiresome.

I found Klemmer in the 70's, been a fan ever since.  I think that his music is somewhat of a precursor to smooth Jazz...which a lot of people in the 70's were not listening to.  They were stuck on Disco, the Eagles, and other such music.  I also found Jean Luc Ponte, Ronnie Laws, Hubert Laws, Herbie Hancock, and others.

John Klemmer has NEVER been mainstream. He never will and needs to be. His intentions was always wanted to be kept that way. His style, his arrangements, his music. Music and sax lovers already know. Klemmer's music will never be outdated. Thank you Mr. Klemmer. You're one of a kind.

I discovered John Klemmer way back in the 70's when I used to do gigs in Southern CA. I like his style. He doesn't over play his licks and style. Nice lay back smooth. I don't understand why I don't hear the jazz stations on Sirus XM playing any of his music. Especially on the smooth jazz station, Watercolors ....

Bom demais! A primeira canção que me apresentou John Klemmer foi essa, Deja Vu... Ironicamente, fiquei anos sem ouvi-la pois não me lembrava o nome... Hoje, nem pesar em esquecê-la!
