Its not just talk that I hear
And when I see him build his wall around you
I know the end is near
Tell me that I'm wrong
And its all in my mind
And it just make my blood run wild
And I'm dying
So I'm back
Back on the streets
Yes, I'm back to find somebody new
I'm back
I'm back on the streets
Girl, I'm back and I'm over you
I've lost your love girl
And all that I live fori see it in your eyes
And when I see you walking out that door girl
Another part of me dies
Its time to move on
And I know it for sure
The feeling is gone
And I won't be hurt anymore
And I'm not going to fall
So I'm back
Back on the streets
Yes, I'm back to find somebody new
I'm backi'm back on the streets
Girl, I'm back and I'm over you
So I'm back
Back on the streets
Yes, I'm back to find somebody new
I'm backi'm back on the streets
Girl, I'm back and I'm over you
The lyrics of John Norum's song "Back on the Streets" portray a man's feelings following the end of a relationship. The song starts with the singer confronting his former partner about her new love interest. He expresses that he knows she no longer loves him and that he can see her building a wall around herself with her new partner. The lyrics are filled with anguish as the singer questions himself if he imagined who the person she is replacing him with.
However, the singer decides that he can't keep living in the past and decides to move on. He acknowledges that he has lost the love of his life, but he knows it's time to find someone new. Despite the hurt and pain he is feeling, he is determined not to fall into the trap of pining for his lost love. In the chorus, the singer declares that he is back on the streets to find somebody new and that he is over his former partner.
Overall, "Back on the Streets" is a song that explores the emotions of heartbreak, the journey to move on, and the determination to find love again.

@@ogam5 John does a tremendous cover of Gary's 'The Loner.' Closest to the man himself that I've ever heard. Full of feel

Yes, 80’s Gary Moore ! Priceless.
@V3ntilator
More like Vinnie Vincent who made this song.
@JackMcLeodJr
@@V3ntilator Yeah it's a tribute cover mate, we ALL knew that. He sounds nothing like Vincent, stylistically he's very Gary Moore-esque.
