You gave me your heart
And I broke it up
Now here I am
All alone and I'm hatin' me
Cause baby with you I had everything
Now I'm a nothin' man
Not sure what I do from here
Or where I'll go
Baby the only thing I know is
[Chorus]
I'll never find another you
Someone who moves me like you do
Someone that knows me inside out
A love that'll never let me down
I could search all through this world
Try to find another like you girl
But no matter what I do
I'll never find another you
You put yourself in the palm of my hand
I was the envy of every man
And it was beautiful
What a perfect little life we found
We built it up and I tore it all down, like a fool
How will I ever forgive myself
And how do I live
Knowing I'll never feel that way again
And
[Chorus]
Maybe someday I'll find a sweet face
That takes me half the way to where we've been
Oh and who knows maybe I'll come close
But comin' close is all I'll ever get
All I'll ever get
[Chorus]
I'll never find another you
I'll never find another you
In John Rich's song "Another You," the singer is filled with regret after breaking the heart of someone who was everything to him. He acknowledges what he did wrong and takes full responsibility for the pain his actions caused. He describes the feeling of being alone and hating himself, realizing that he will never find another person like the one he lost. The singer seems to be struggling to come to terms with his mistake and move forward, wondering how he can ever forgive himself for what he's done.
The chorus expresses the depth of the singer's feelings, saying that he could search the world over for another love like the one he lost but he knows he will never find anyone quite like her. He acknowledges that although he may find a love that comes close, it will never truly compare to what he had before. The song ends with the singer resigning himself to the fact that he will never find another you.
Overall, "Another You" is a poignant song about regret and the loss of something truly special. It serves as a reminder to always cherish the important people in our lives and to be mindful of the impact our actions can have on others.

My god what have I done
I regret my actions and don't know how to make it right
You gave me your heart
You trusted me with your love and affection
And I broke it up
I betrayed that trust and destroyed what we had
Now here I am
Alone and full of regret
All alone and I'm hatin' me
I am alone with my guilt and can't help but loathe myself
Cause baby with you I had everything
I had everything I needed when we were together
Now I'm a nothin' man
Without you, I am nothing
Not sure what I do from here
I am lost and unsure of what to do next
Or where I'll go
I have no idea where my life will take me without you
Baby the only thing I know is
The only certainty I have is
I'll never find another you
No one else can replace you in my heart
Someone who moves me like you do
No one else can make me feel the same way you did
Someone that knows me inside out
No one else understands me as well as you did
A love that'll never let me down
No one else can love me as unconditionally as you did
I could search all through this world
I could try to find love elsewhere
Try to find another like you girl
Try to find someone who is like you in every way
But no matter what I do
No matter how hard I try
I'll never find another you
I won't find someone who is like you
You put yourself in the palm of my hand
You trusted me to take care of you
I was the envy of every man
I was the luckiest man in the world to have you
And it was beautiful
Our love and relationship was amazing
What a perfect little life we found
We had found the perfect life together
We built it up and I tore it all down, like a fool
I ruined everything we had and destroyed our happiness
How will I ever forgive myself
I don't know how I can ever make things right
And how do I live
I don't know how to move on from this or live without you
Knowing I'll never feel that way again
The pain of knowing I can never have what we had again is unbearable
Maybe someday I'll find a sweet face
Perhaps in the future I will find someone else
That takes me half the way to where we've been
Someone who can make me half as happy as you did
Oh and who knows maybe I'll come close
Maybe I will find someone who can get close to replacing you
But comin' close is all I'll ever get
But no one can fully replace you in my heart
I'll never find another you
I will never find someone like you in my life
I'll never find another you
No one can ever replace you

John Rich is the man!! He is one awesome country musician. I am happy to say that I was a fan of John Rich before he appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice.

I admit it, I am a die hard rocker from way back (grew up in NYC where there isn't much country after all) and the Celebrity Apprentice has opened my eyes a bit to this man's incredible talent. His hat may always remain on but mine is off to this guy. Well done John! Now everyone go and give a listen to "Standin' in the Storm" the new single by John Rich, Meat Load, Lil Jon and Mark McGrath where the proceeds go to their individual charities.

I was fortunate enough to be able to see Big & Rich at Ft. Jackson a few weeks back. They really put on a GREAT show! I so love what they do for our military! I saw Mr. Rich on The Apprentice and was pulling for him to win from the start. I have heard various interviews with him over the years mainly regarding his political views of which I am in complete agreement with but I'm only now discovering his solo music. I'm so liking it!!! Count me in as another big John Rich fan!!!
