I wonder what happened to the kids in this photo...
In fact, I wonder what happened to all the people in these old videos. There are some pretty popularly used photos of chicks used in music promotion channels like this from way back, but I've seen no mentions of names to indicate if they're models. Just makes you realise how big the world is:what you see online everyday is happening elsewhere away from you, or has already taken place at some point in time...
Matthew Y
I would straight up listen to this everyday of my life about 7 years ago.
AKU!!
Matthew Young lmfao same I used to get home from middle school get on my Xbox and just blast Joker and some other dubstep songs all day, good times man :)

Oh you know what it was!

Same, someone mentioned an old electronic producer who for some reason reminded me of joker, hate sounding like a boomer already, but it does kinda bring me back to feeling like a pot billowing teenage delinquent back around 2010
phone phone
@Acidlib It all happened so fast. The scene absolutely exploded. I was kinda late to seeing it at 2008 but "deep" dub stuck with me I don't care for the harder shit playing at lost lands I want all the OG taste of infrasound . ending note we are nor old, we have good taste. you don't need to progress as music does . are you even listening? this alien shit was made in like year 2301

One of the most truthful comments I've read in a while. I'm not gonna lie, I like Skrillex, but its not dubstep. I've been listening to Joker since 09, and I wish more dubstep artists had turned out like him. This is real dubstep.
That One Guy Chad
Fuck yeah. It's a damn shame dubstep went the way it did. It's so hard to remember the bangers as well. This was deffo one of them.
MusicFeedsTheWhole
You can alter a genre and still have it be that genre. Just because you dont like it does not make it dubstep. Lmao
Ben T
everyone from the day feels this way dude. rusko into skrillex fucked it

Just grooving up to this reminiscing.
My first gig was joker & the upbeats when I was 17, I remember after jokers set he was standing in the crowd, looked like he was just absorbing it in and tripping out a bit. I believe he was around 20 at the time too. I guess he was thinking about how his music took him across the world from London to Christchurch.
