Currently, while recording his self-written, self-composed and self-produced full-length album “With love, through sound” (working title), Jon still finds time to effectively maintain his “self-proclaimed” empire. He has appeared in several on-screen productions such as the WB/CW television show “Hidden Palms” and recently wrapped the production of Universal Pictures’ new film “Kids In America” set to release in 2008. When he has a moment to breathe, he enjoys advertising his free-lance photography business to actors, actress’, musicians and models.
Jon has never been one to fall short from his dream. Hailing from a musical background, he began to explore his expansive love for music at age 4. While other children explored karate and gymnastics, Jon was studying piano with a family friend, which continued on for the next several years. Around the age of eleven, Jon had his first poem “I care” published in a national poetry book. It was then when he discovered his emotions were best expressed through creative writing. By age 13 he was already studying countless “Music Business” books and sending numerous letters and emails that expressed his visions of a future career as an entertainer to the A&R departments of many major record labels, even though he didn’t have a demo to send. At age 17, an impatient Jon Asher had decided to establish himself in what is now known as the “Independent musician revolution”, where artists produce, build and market their own sound and image. Now at the young age of 20, Jon has successfully placed two of his songs, (Broken Remix and The Noise Inside my Head) into rotation throughout Arizona’s radio station (Kiss Fm) and parts of the United Kingdom. He has appeared as a guest on Kiss Fm’s morning show John-jay and Rich where he premiered his first single “Broken Remix” live on air.
As a pioneer in the “Independent musician revolution” Jon plans ultimately to take his self produced album “With love, through sound” to the top of the charts, and accomplish yet a whole new set of goals and dreams, but at a much superior level. While the search for mainstream representation is underway, Jon vows to sustain a vigorous relationship with his fans through his words and music. With the love and support of his family, friends, fans and followers Jon Asher truly can accomplish anything he puts his heart and mind to. Now, eager than ever, Jon Asher continues his journey to fulfill and enrich the lives, ears and hearts of others with love, through sound.
Electricity
Jon Asher Lyrics

You're taking my words so I cant speak.
You got me feeling so weak
Taking the breath right out of me
I feel my blood pump a little bit faster
Tickin? towards a coronary disaster.
Make this love just a little big stronger
(Chorus)
I wanna breathe with you
Wanna move simultaneously
Wanna see whatchya see
Wanna feel your Electricity.
Like a prayer in the night
I whispered three words
And called on the light
And these sparks are so bright
I see a future in black and white- yeah
I feel my blood pump a little bit faster
Tickin? towards a coronary disaster.
Make this love just a little big stronger
Hold it on for a little bit longer- yeah.
(Chorus)
I wanna breathe with you
Wanna move simultaneously
Wanna see whatchya see
Wanna feel your Electricity.
Oh, Oh, Oh, Eh, Eh, Eh
Lay here until we unfold
Breathe me and don?t let me go, go, go
(wanna feel, wanna feel)
Lay here until we unfold
Breathe me and don?t let me go, go, go-oh
(Chorus x 2)
Wanna feel your Electricity

The lyrics of Jon Asher's song Electricity seem to be about a powerful and consuming attraction between two people. The first verse talks about how the person is so drawn to the other that they are left speechless and weak. The second verse speaks of a need for a deeper connection, one that is felt in the blood and can even lead to disaster if not fulfilled. The chorus highlights the desire to be completely in sync with the other person, to see the world through their eyes, and to feel the electricity between them.
The bridge mentions a prayer, perhaps indicating that this attraction is so intense that it feels like a spiritual experience. The sparks are bright, suggesting that this connection is promising and has the potential for a bright future. The repetition of the chorus reinforces the intense desire for this connection.
Overall, the song seems to be about the intense, all-consuming feelings of a new romantic connection. The desire to be completely in sync with the other person and the potential for a bright future together.
