Jon Mark Lyrics
We have lyrics for these tracks by Jon Mark:
Alone With My Shadow See the snowflakes Softly fall The day grows Gray and still …
Joey Joey, the corn is tall and yellow Joey, the summer sky's…
Signal Hill Leaves begin to fall golden in the sun I see the children…
When I Dream When I see you Smiling at me Can't help wondering why Why…

I first found this album when I was a teenager, I'm 50 years old now. It has inspired a great deal of art ever since. Jon Mark was so far ahead of his time.

i first listened to this in 1988 when it first came out and played it non stop for years taking me on a journey, sadly jon Mark passed away in 2021, but has left us this magnificient timeless celtic masterpiece, that allows us to in our minds walk in a past time, its simplicity is a monument to how good it really is...none of his otherworks after came close, to this masterpiece

Wow I remember back in the late 80s playing this constantly after listening to Hearts of space every Sunday night ,
Living in an 18th century flat in Berkeley up until the late 90s , I would not trade that time period ever. In fact I wish it could continue.
Jon Mark has been a great go to for times of solace and reflectionβ¦.

I listen to this everyday and have loved it since it was released.

It's wonderful to find this album. I only know the song @ 12:00, and I have it on a cassette tape somewhere, along with many other "ambient" tracks. There was a radio show in Sydney every Sunday night called "Ambience". The host was Arnold Frollows, and he introduced each track in a deep, husky, whisper, which fitted perfectly with the vibe of the whole show. That music took me all over the world, and with this song, I am on the Isle of Lewis! G'day!
How's everyone going in the northern hemisphere?!

Rest in peace, Jon. I love your music since 50 years and I will always love it.

Sometimes it's not easy to give soul to electronic music but Jon Mark really channeled the Celtic spirit in this. This recording has such a feeling of refuge and peace. I love it.
