He is best known as the host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show and for his political satire.
Stewart started off as a stand-up comedian but later moved on to television, hosting Short Attention Span Theater for Comedy Central. He then went on to host his own show on MTV, called The Jon Stewart Show. Stewart also hosted another show on MTV, called You Wrote It, You Watch It.
Stewart began hosting The Daily Show on Comedy Central in early 1999. He is also a writer and co-producer of the show. Since Stewart began his contributions to the show, it has gradually gained respect and credibility and in 2005, both The Daily Show and Jon Stewart won Emmy Awards. Stewart has also gained considerable attention as an outspoken critic of George W. Bush's Administration and established media in general, including Bill O'Reilly, cable news, and others. Although it is difficult to categorize Stewart's political views into a single category, on the December 19, 2006, episode of the Daily Show with guest William Kristol, Stewart referred to himself as a "downtown libertarian."
Stewart also co-wrote America (The Book). The book was one of the top 15 best-sellers in the U.S. in 2004.

Bladderflap. You make these mighty assertions and claims without any proof at all. Play by the rules. You make a claim - prove it.
You can't, so you really ought to get real; face the cold hard beautiful truth instead of bloody fairy tales of the bronze age.
Follow a book that condones slavery in both old and new testaments?
Only lazy cowards do stuff like that.
Lazy cowards - too lazy to seek the actual truth; too cowardly to face the truth when it's before them.
You rely on Science every day of your life for everything from food to clothing....and still you turn your back when Science reveals yet another fact of reality.
Real men seek the truth, not comfy lies.
The time to believe in something is when there's solid proof thereof, not before. Only lazy cowards believe in stuff without proof.
Yeah, the god virus sure can mess one up, big time.
You convince yourself there's some super being watching over you and you start believing all sorts of stupid childish shit.
Anybody worshiping a 'god' that would murder all humans, save 8 runs a solid risk of breaking one's moral compass.
Worship a 'god' that would murder ALL the first born of a nation?
The concepts of Compassion, Honor and Responsibility were around long before the bible showed up; probably even before written language.
You're not a sheep! You don't need a shepherd!
Prayer is begging. It infantilizes. It's mind poison.
One of the greatest crimes against humankind was religion's hijacking of morality.

Just for fun, let's play a game of thought:
What if there is a higher power that wants you to believe in it but can't be proven? Can you say for 100% certainty that it doesn't exist?
I know what you are thinking:
"I don't have to prove that a god doesn't exist. A god being the creator of this world is the weird and unrealistic option so I stick with an atheist explanation."
Since you sound like a person that would like a scientific approach - explain to me this:
1) Getting something from nothing
2)Getting life from non-life
3)Getting order from Chaos
4) Getting the immaterial (e.g. our consciousness) from the material
