Please Be Mine
Jonas Brothers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
That you are my beautiful
I try to come closer with you
But they all say we won't make it through
But I'll be there forever
You will see that it's better
All our hopes and our dreams will come true
I will be right there for you 'til the end
The end of time
And please be mine
I'm in and out of love with you
Trying to find if it's really true
How can I prove my love
If they all think I'm not good enough?
But I'll be there forever
You will see that it's better
All our hopes and our dreams will come true
I will not disappoint you
I will be right there for you 'til the end
The end of time
And please be mine
I can't stop the rain from falling
Can't stop my heart from calling you
It's calling you
I can't stop the rain from falling
Can't stop my heart from calling you
It's calling you
(I can't stop the rain)
I can't stop the rain from falling
I can't stop my heart from calling you
It's calling you, oh, yeah
But I'll be there forever
You will see that it's better (much better)
All our hopes and our dreams will come true (will come true)
I will not disappoint you (oh, no)
I will be right there for you 'til the end
The end of time
Please be mine
The lyrics of "Please Be Mine" by the Jonas Brothers depict a man trying to win the heart of the woman he loves, despite the doubts of others around him. He is convinced of their love for each other and vows to be there for her no matter what. He acknowledges that their love is hard to prove to others, but he believes in it, and he believes in their future together.
The song's lyrics are a beautiful portrayal of the enduring power of love, even in the face of doubt and uncertainty. They highlight the importance of perseverance and commitment in relationships, and the fact that true love will always shine through in the end. The melody of the song is simple yet catchy, and the sincerity and emotion conveyed by the Jonas Brothers' voices make it a poignant expression of love.
