One, two...

Mirror Mirror, who is that I see?
Who is that I see yeah?
Is it my reflection, looking back at me?
Oh I say. Mirror Mirror. Who is that I see?
Is it my reflection, looking back, looking back,
Looking back at me?
Alright
I saw this special person looking back at me.
I had this feeling we would get along,
Get along famously.
When I looked more closely,
I recognized their eyes.
Their face seemed so familiar,
We were exactly the same size.
Mirror Mirror, who is that I see?
Looking back at me?
Is it my reflection, looking back at me?
Who is that I see?
Mirror Mirror. Who is that I see?
Is it my reflection?
Is it my reflection, looking back, looking back,
Looking back at me?
Yeah
And well you know we just hit if off,
like we're the best of friends.
We laughed and danced in similar ways,
I knew our friendship would never end.
This very special person, so familiar to me.
Do I know you?
Was my reflection in the mirror?
It's me, it's me I see. Alright.
Mirror Mirror, who is that I see?
Who is that I see?
Is it my reflection, looking back at me?
Looking back at me?
Mirror Mirror. Who is that I see?
It's me, it's me I see
Is it my reflection, looking back, looking back,
looking back at me?
Ha ha alright!
Yeah
The song "Mirror" by Jonas Hellborg/Shawn Lane/V. Selvaganesh is a reflective, introspective piece that explores the idea of identity and self-discovery. Through the use of a mirror motif, the song delves into the concept of self-reflection, both literal and metaphorical. The opening lines, "Mirror Mirror, who is that I see?/Is it my reflection, looking back at me?" set the tone for the rest of the song, as the singer questions and reflects on their own identity.
As the song progresses, the singer discovers a "special person" within their own reflection that they feel an immediate connection with. The lines "We laughed and danced in similar ways,/I knew our friendship would never end" illustrate the bond that the singer feels with this reflection of themselves. However, as the song comes to an end, it is revealed that this "special person" was, in fact, the singer themselves all along. The final lines, "It's me, it's me I see," bring the song full circle and emphasize the theme of introspection and self-discovery.
Overall, "Mirror" is a thought-provoking and contemplative song that encourages listeners to take a closer look at themselves and their own identities.
