Are you ready to rip it up
Do you know what I'm talking about
Are you ready to get it up
Are you ready to dance
Are you ready to hit the floor
Are you ready
If you're ready I'm ready
Are you ready to rock
Are you ready to shake it up
Do you know what I'm thinking of
Are you ready to tear it up
Are you ready to dance
Are you ready to hit the floor
Are you ready
If you're ready I'm ready
Are you ready to rip it up
Are you ready to take it down
Are you ready to dance about
Am I messing around
Are you ready to rock
Are you ready to hit the floor
Are you ready
If you're ready I'm ready
Are you ready to rock... rock
Oh yeah
The lyrics to Jorn's song "Are You Ready" are a call to action for the audience. The singer is asking the crowd if they are ready to rock, rip it up, dance, hit the floor, and get it up. The repeated phrase "Are you ready" is a way to get the audience engaged and hyped up for the upcoming performance. The use of imperative verbs like "rock", "dance", and "hit" are meant to create a sense of urgency and excitement.
The repetition of "Are you ready" also serves to create a sense of camaraderie between the singer and the audience. By asking if they are ready, the singer is suggesting that they are all in this together and that they are going to have a good time. The lyrics are simple and straightforward, but the energy they generate is infectious.
In addition to the catchy lyrics, the song features heavy guitar riffs, driving drums, and a powerful vocal performance by Jorn. The overall sound is reminiscent of classic hard rock bands like AC/DC and Guns N' Roses. The song is meant to be played loud and fast, and to get the crowd moving.
