Above us all the stars are watching
There's no place Iβ²d rather be in this world
Your eyes are where I'm lost in
Underneath the chandelier
We're dancing all alone
Thereβ²s no reason to hide
Right now
So baby let's just turn down the lights
And close the door
Ooh I love that dress
But you wonβ²t need it anymore
No you won't need it no more
Letβ²s just kiss 'til weβ²re naked, baby
Versace on the floor
I unzip the back to watch it fall
While I kiss your neck and shoulders
No don't be afraid to show it off
I'll be right here ready to hold you
Girl you know youβ²re perfect from
Your head down to your heels
Donβ²t be confused by my smile
'Cause I ainβ²t ever been more for real, oh, for real
So just turn down the lights
And close the door
Ooh I love that dress
But you won't need it anymore
No you wonβ²t need it no more
Let's just kiss β²til we're naked, baby
Versace on the floor
Versace On The Floor by Joseph Vincent is a sensuous and romantic love song that uses vivid imagery to set the stage for a passionate night of intimacy. The lyrics describe a moment of deep connection between two people who are lost in each other's gaze. It is a moment when nothing else exists, and time seems to stop, and all that matters is being in the moment with each other. The song's themes revolve around the idea of falling in love with someone and enjoying every moment with them, without worrying about anything else.
The opening verse of the song sets the tone for the romantic atmosphere the song creates. The lyrics "Let's take our time tonight, girl | Above us all the stars are watching | There's no place I'd rather be in this world | Your eyes are where I'm lost in" portrays a sense of exclusivity, and the two people involved in the moment shut out the rest of the world. It is a moment where the singer is entirely engrossed in his partner, and he is willing to give her all his attention. The chorus is the most popular part of the song and encourages the listener to close the door, turn off the lights, and put Versace on the floor.
One of the most interesting facts about the song is that it was written and produced by Bruno Mars. Additionally, the song is a part of Joseph Vincent's album "Gone," which was released in 2019. Another interesting fact is that the song's video features Joseph Vincent and his girlfriend, with the two of them dancing to the song. The video has over 118 million views on YouTube, which is a testament to the song's popularity. The song has been covered by several artists, including Elsie Lovelock, Brett Young, and Ed Sheeran, among others. Versace On The Floor was certified as platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), which means it has sold at least one million copies in the USA. The chords of the song are G#m, A, F#m, and B, and the tempo is at 50 bpm.

Let's take our time tonight, girl
We should go slow tonight, there's no rush
Above us all the stars are watching
We're under the night sky with the stars as our only audience
There's no place I'd rather be in this world
Being with you is exactly where I want to be
Your eyes are where I'm lost in
When I look into your eyes, everything else fades away
Underneath the chandelier
The fancy lighting sets the mood
We're dancing all alone
It's just you and me on the dance floor
There's no reason to hide
We don't need to keep anything secret
What we're feeling inside
We should show each other how we feel
Right now
In this moment
So baby let's just turn down the lights
We should make this moment more intimate
And close the door
Shut the world out so it's just us
Ooh I love that dress
You look beautiful in that dress
But you won't need it anymore
You can take off your dress, we don't need it now
No you won't need it no more
Let's not waste time and get to it
Let's just kiss 'til we're naked, baby
We should kiss until we're both undressed
Versace on the floor
The expensive clothing doesn't matter now as we can just let ourselves go
I unzip the back to watch it fall
I'll help you get rid of the dress, slowly
While I kiss your neck and shoulders
I'll kiss you gently while helping you get undressed
No don't be afraid to show it off
Don't be shy, show your beautiful body
I'll be right here ready to hold you
I'm here for you and will make you feel loved and secure
Girl you know you're perfect from your head down to your heels
You're beautiful and I love you just the way you are
Don't be confused by my smile
I'm genuinely happy to be with you
'Cause I ain't ever been more for real, oh, for real
I've never been more honest and sincere with anyone else

@Dom-lr8bq
a song about sex cant be emotional? oook
@Leannelez97
Dom More like, the emotions of the melody (?) and the lyrics don't match up (to me). I never really paid attention to the lyrics before this, so it surprised me! :)
@maryabigail1852
Leannelez97 i agree with you. the first time i heard this, i thought it was very emotional, it is raw, so strong, so honest, it was almost about to cry but naaaah, when i searched for the lyrics haha it was explicit. but yeah, really, i cant think of any lyrics or theme that would match the melody. great song, kudos to Joseph Vincent he did a great cover.
@whischeriot3636
Hi, I make a whistle cover of this song, please check on my channel. Thanks!
@reachtrita
I didn't like this song when I heard it on the radio or when the MV came out, but the very first note you sang, I immediately felt emotional and connected to this song.
This is really amazing!

I always look forward to your covers because I want to sing songs the same way you do since your voice range is doable. I want to know in which key a song will still sound good, like this one. Fortunately, your cover serves as a demo, and you even sometimes show your chords, so thank you.
