Josh Turner is a country artist who describes his music as South Carolina Lowcountry. His voice and musical style has often been compared to that of Johnny Cash's. Hailing from the Hannah, South Carolina, Josh moved to Nashville in 1996 to study music at Belmont University. It was there that he met his current wife, Jennifer Ford, whom he married in 2003. During that same year, he released his debut album, Long Black Train. The title song "Long Black Train" peaked at #13 on Billboard's US Country chart, staying on the charts for over 40 weeks.
Your Man, Josh's 2nd album, was released early 2006. The first single was the title track, "Your Man," which eventually climbed all the way to number 1. His big hit, though, was his second single, "Would You Go With Me." This song solidified the album's soon platinum status. His Christian-themed "Me and God" was released as a single on the Christian radio circuit. It was a moderate success, and was eventually released as a single on the Country radio.
"Time Is Love," is the first single from Josh Turner's fifth studio album. It finds him turning the phrase "time is money" on its head: ("Time is love / Gotta run / Love to hang longer but I got someone who waits / Waits for me and right now she's where I need to be / Time is love, gotta run.") The song was released digitally on December 20, 2011 and for radio adds on January 8, 2012. (Time Is Love Songfacts)
Gravity

Every time I'd hit the ground
On that long dirt road, my bike lost control
And once again I was fallin' down
Every time I'd try to fly, there's a force I can't deny
Gravity
Grew to be six foot one, depended on no one
Invincible and strong until you came along
And touched me with your gentle hand
When I look into your eyes, there's a force I can't deny
Gravity
Well, I never really liked it much
Always left me all scraped up
Never really saw it as a good thing
Changes tides out on the sea
Pulled your body close to me
First time I ain't been afraid to fall
Don't guess it's so bad after all
Gravity
Well, I never really liked it much
Always left me all scraped up
Never really saw it as a good thing
Changes tides out on the sea
Pulled your body close to me
First time I ain't been afraid to fall
Don't guess it's so bad after all
Gravity
Gravity
Mmm, gravity
In "Gravity," Josh Turner speaks about an invisible, yet powerful force that pulls everything towards the earth - forces of nature he could not overcome on the playground, on his bike, and in life later on are defined by the force of gravity. He reflects on all the times he fell and got hurt, due to gravity's force, and how those experiences made him hate it. Nevertheless, when he falls for someone, this universal power is transformed into a good thing when looking at it through love-tinted lenses. He realizes that life's imperfections can also be beautiful, and he finds himself no longer being afraid to fall. His love interest's touch has the power to defy gravity, making it a central theme to the song.
"Gravity" portrays the existence of an unstoppable force that one can not fight. It depicts how love has the same pull and can overcome everything else. Gravity can represent the force that takes over when the world becomes too much to bear, or that feeling when someone enters your life and makes everything worthwhile. Gravity's influence can go both ways, but Turner argues that if one is not caught off guard, it can be a beautiful thing when it is used as an anchor point to pull them down towards something real rather than just letting us tumble away.
