Well, anything can have a nickname- and that's ok. But you're right to say that nobody would qualify. When explaining what it is, people need to be accurate, and not disingenuous like the author of this piece and the congressman.

She clearly wasn’t paid for the British GQ gig - which according to the British GQ editor was done only as a favor to Trump - who bombarded their office with endless calls trying to convince them to feature his then girlfriend - in his bid to support his boasts of her as a ‘model’. The few gigs she has are those Trump bought her after she moved in with him in 2000 - in a bid to turn her ‘respectable’ and point to some semblance of a ‘modeling’ portfolio - which was almost non-existent prior to dating Trump.
By the way, the only reason she was on British GQ, was because the US version - the pearl of GQ mags, wouldn’t even entertain a call from Trump.
So this idea that she was ‘international’ and ‘must have commanded a high fee’ is so bogus.

The guidelines- which you can read for yourself- are if you are featured in major press. She was. The guideline with pay is if you command significantly more than average. If you don't think she could make more than an average model in the US, I don't know what to tell you. Did dating Trump help- obviously, but she was qualified based on the guidelines. You make good points, but the article was not accurate and the comments by the congressman are intentionally misleading. I appreciate your comments. We don't have to agree.
