Hallelujah, hallelujah,
For the Lord, God Almighty reigns.

Hallelujah, hallelujah,
For the Lord, God Almighty reigns,
Hallelujah.

Holy, holy are You, Lord,
God Almighty;
Worthy is the Lamb,
Worthy is the Lamb.

You are holy,
Holy, are You, Lord,
God Almighty;
Worthy is the Lamb,
Worthy is the Lamb, Amen.

Hallelujah, hallelujah,
For the Lord, God Almighty reigns,
Hallelujah.

Holy, holy are You, Lord,
God Almighty;
Worthy is the Lamb,
Worthy is the Lamb.

You are holy,
Holy, are You, Lord,
God Almighty;

Worthy is the Lamb,
Worthy is the Lamb, Amen.

Overall Meaning

Judy Jacobs's "Agnus Dei" is a hymn that praises the reign of God, the Almighty. The lyrics "Hallelujah, hallelujah, For the Lord, God Almighty reigns," are repeated several times, emphasizing the sovereignty of God. In the Christian faith, God's reign is seen as the ultimate fulfillment of His promise of salvation for humanity. Through the sacrifice of the Lamb, God's reign is established, and His mercy and grace are made available to all.

The hymn also recognizes God's holiness, with the lines "Holy, holy are You, Lord, God Almighty; Worthy is the Lamb." The repetition of the phrase "Worthy is the Lamb" further emphasizes this point. The Lamb is seen as a symbol of sacrifice and redemption, a representation of Jesus Christ's sacrifice for humanity. God's holiness and the worthiness of the Lamb are combined to depict the magnitude of God's grace.

Overall, Judy Jacobs's "Agnus Dei" is a powerful hymn that praises the sovereignty of God, his holiness, and grace, and the significance of the sacrifice of the Lamb. The song is a powerful reminder of the Christian faith's fundamental beliefs and the hope that comes with God's reign and the Lamb's redemption.

I'm not sure if you are aware of the fact that the 3 score and 10 years given in the Bible, was a curse which was only for the Israelites who complained in the wilderness! So that those who complained would not enter into the promised land with their doubts and complaining..

A young man or woman will die at 100.. and more if in strength!

Don't curse yourself with 3 score and 10 years! (70)!

No! Instead confess, Lord I will live out the years You have given me, and I will live them out in Your strength!

If that be a 100 years Lord, I accept it! If for strength more than a 100 years, I accept it!

Then do everything in your power to fulfill that! Eat well! Rest! Work! Love! Laugh! Pray! Feast on His word! Live righteously! Praise and worship Him!

He is the life of your body! And the number of your days!

Blessings to You!

Reading the comments for this beautiful CD has blessed me. I was a part of the Guiding Light Church choir who made this CD with Judy Jacobs. This was one of the best experiences of my life and I still thank God for the opportunity. I am humbled to know that I was a part of something bigger than myself and that has been a blessing to others.
