Santana began writing rhymes at the age of 12. He was originally signed to Priority Records as one half a duo called Draft Pick. The group had several shows around New York City while together, including Amateur Night at the Apollo Theatre, where they won two weeks in a row. Some time after this, he was introduced to Cam'ron through a cousin; in 1998, he became a member of the group, The Diplomats, whose members include Cam'ron, Jim Jones, 40 Cal, J.R Writer, Hell Rell, Jha Jha, S.A.S, and Freekey Zeekey. He is now signed as a solo artist to Dipset but unlike the rest of The Diplomats, who are signed to Koch Records, Santana is currently signed to Def Jam.
He was voted #2 in the VIBE Vixen top 50 sexiest rappers behind T.I. at #1.
His first album, From Me To You was released by Roc-A-Fella Records in 2003 featuring the singles "Dipset (Santana's Town)" and "Down". It was considered a commerical failure when compared to the sucess of Cam'ron's Come Home With Me and The Diplomats' Diplomatic Immunity.
In his latest work, his second album, What The Game's Been Missing!, features the singles "There It Go! (The Whistle Song)", and "Oh Yes" as he continues his unique flow. He was featured in Chris Brown's #1 hit "Run It!" and in the remix of Mariah Carey's # 1 single "Don't Forget About Us". Santana also had the summer hit "Mic Check" which also is on "What The Game's Been Missing!"
Juelz is best known for his ability to flow without any specific rhyme scheme.

Dipset (yeah)
Fuck with ya boy (yeah)
It's Santana (yeah)
Yeah man
I'm back at it
C'mon
I'm back on my A-game is you gettin' the picture? (What up?)
And last album they don't like me to tell this
They under-shipped my records ain't expect me to sell shit (shut up)
That's what they tellin' me, switch up yo' melody
You hot but if you go pop, your record'll be sellin' three
Fuck off, I ain't no damn puppet
I'ma do what I wanna do just as long as my fans love it
And if that can't cut it, fuck it, drop me
Watch me blow up on another label, I'm cocky (aye)
You better realize pa, I'm a real live star
Ask your kids if they feel my bars, they'll tell you, "Hell yeah"
Ask him is he just runnin' his mouth or is he really the one to look out for?
They'll tell you, "Hell yeah, yeah, he's the one to look out for
He's not just runnin' his mouth y'all" (they'll tell you, "No way")
Uh-uh, I been hotter than you dudes
To me this shit is easier than tyin' my two shoes
You young cats sound old and retired like yo' flows on a diet
You ain't feedin' the people right
It's like food when I rap, they get fooled when I rap
Like Slick Rick said, the ruler is back
8 AM, open my eyes
Yeah, kick my bitch, tell her open the blinds
And I'm over the stove at nine
Yeah, I'm cookin' breakfast for the block then I let her cook mine
Yeah, quick line in the bathroom 'fore we bounce
Not me, I mean her, she go a-day-an ounce (dang)
Y'all pray for her
While I'm at the bus station in the Bentley sittin' low as I wait for her
I'm gettin' dough, I'm a paper-boy, I will take you
For the right paper, boy, I will take her
Shake her, tape her, waist up
Send her to the money, she be back before I wake up
Get ya cake up
Y'all niggas lame ducks
You probably get your game up when I'm givin' the game up
My name Wayne, what?
Hot boy flame up
You niggas tryin' to change up and I'm gettin' my change up
The lyrics to Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne's "Blow" speak about the artists' wealth and success, and how they enjoy luxuries such as champagne diets, expensive cars, and trips to high-end stores such as Gucci. The song also discusses the downside of fame, including constantly being seduced by women, as well as the pressure to constantly live up to expectations. Throughout the track, the artists remind their audience that they've overcome their past struggles by making it big in the music industry.
Juelz Santana's opening lines assure listeners that both he and Lil Wayne are "richer than the richest" and have a lot of money to spend on women. The two rappers are broadcasting live from Atlanta, a city known for its thriving music scene which has spawned many successful hip-hop artists. Santana then goes on to boast about his lavish lifestyle, including drinking champagne 24/7, and how he's become someone that everyone who doubted him never imagined he could be. Lil Wayne later taps in, rapping about his Ferrari Spider, his candy-painted, foreign-lighted Benz, and how he's been higher than ever before.
Despite their wealth, Santana and Lil Wayne admit that the pressures of fame come with several consequences. They discuss how they're always seduced by women, and they can't help it since they became famous. These same women, who they've called out before, want to be with them solely for their money. Despite this, however, the duo still insists that they "got money to blow" and are "poppin' like champagne bottles."
In summary, the lyrics of "Blow" are a display of wealth and success, as well as the consequences that come with it. Through this song, Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne prove that they have achieved fame and fortune beyond their wildest dreams.
