this music physically hurts me. Like i can feel my chest tighten and it gets hard to breathe. I LOVED playing this game. I had so many pokemon.
One day i opened to play and it said that the file had been corrupted and all the data had been deleted. I've never felt the pain of losing a loved one, but it still hurts to this day when I think about the adventures i played in soulsilver. it's been three years but when i remember random route music, it makes cry and i feel a literal ache in my chest. I really wished i could get over it, but the nostalgia chokes me. i dont have a pet, but those pokemon i travelled with felt real. and now all gone.
any advice is sorely appreciated. how do i get over this toxic nostalgia. i keep telling myself that it was never real, but ihave so many good memories assocaited with the game that just a single note makes me really upset. im twenty five years old and i fear i can never get over it. i want to one day listen to the music without the insistent pain in my chest.
