He currently lives in Tokyo, Japan.
He started playing the piano at 3, but when he picked up the electric guitar at 15, he began to enter the rock world. He joined and created bands in Japan. In 1993, after graduating from college, he joined Sega as a video game composer, doing sound works for games such as Sonic the Hedgehog 3. His first game he composed was for the Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast. He is most well-known for his compositions and songs in Sonic Adventure, where some tunes are recycled from his first work. For example, one portion of the Windy Valley zone uses music from Sonic 3D Blast's Green Grove Zone. He has worked the most with Johnny Gioeli, and both are currently in a band entitled Crush 40.
Senoue continued to compose music for the later 3D Sonic games such as Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes, the latter being the first video game composition for his Crush 40 band. He most recently did work for Sonic Generations, featuring arrangements by him among other Sega composers.

One of my favourite final levels in videogaming. The atmosphere was amazing. I loved the view of Earth below.

The atmosphere was great, despite the fact there is no atmosphere in space.

I actually like certain cut-off lines. "faker? youre not even good enough to be"ill let you eat for thoose words" XD or " WHOA he's fast, no wait he his using the power of the... "my name is shadow " it both fits the situation and it feels much more natural.

This game, and most other games in the series, have THE best combinations of Rock n' Roll + Techno I've ever seen. I seriously thought it couldn't be done before this game. BUT THEN THEY DID IT. AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME.
