And I'm waiting longer, waiting for you
When the sun is setting under line
Hoping you get here on time
The pavements start to hurt my feat then
I've had no money for a weekend
Don't know
I want you here
I need you here
New York city spreding nice but
The Phoenix shouldn't get so high
She said that I get no well
I've said that I'm very well
I want you here
I need you here
Sedona
Sedona
Sedona
Sedona
Sit down and we'll be just fine
Sit down and just know your mind
Just know your mind
And we'll be just fine
'Cause I want you here
I need you here
I want you here
Sedona

Sedona
The song "Sedona" by Junkbunny is a tune about waiting for someone special to arrive in Sedona, a place of serene beauty and peacefulness. The lyrics suggest that the singer is becoming restless and frustrated as they wait for this person, hoping that they get there on time before the sun sets. The sensory details of the song, such as the painful pavements underfoot and being broke, engage the listener's empathy.
In the chorus, the singer emphasizes how important it is for this person to be there, that he wants and needs them to be with him. The singer reflects on the juxtaposition between New York City's high-energy lifestyle and the calming pace of Sedona, where the singer feels more at ease.
The song ends with the invitation to sit down and know your mind, insinuating the idea of self-reflection and relaxation in Sedona. Overall, the song is somewhat melancholic regarding the longing for one's loved one, yet still, the song conveys a sense of hopefulness and peace.

Lyrics:
Trying not to get frustrated
And I’m waiting longer, waiting for you
When the sun is setting on the line
Hoping you’ll get here on time
The pavement starts to hurt my feet
And I’ve had no money for a week
And, oh no, so close.
I want you here
I need to hear
New York City’s pretty nice
But in Phoenix you can get so high
She said that I’d get nowhere
I said I’m already there
I want you here
I need to hear
Sedona, Sedona
Sedona, Sedona
Sit down and we’ll be just fine
Sit down and just know you’re mine
Just know you’re mine, and we’ll be just fine
‘Cause I want you here
I need to hear, I want you here
Sedona, Sedona
Sedona, Sedona

THPS remake did exactly what it did to me back in 1999, introduced me to bands that I normally wouldn't have found on my own. Sedona has been in my head since I started playing.
@darktree9684
Same, easily the best song they added to the remake!

I cannot believe the song is from only a year ago, it sounds like the quintessential early 2000s rock song.
@ColoredinLight
I found this song recommended to me by a spotify playlist I made. Genuinely thought it would be like a 2001 era song and this is the first time I've searched for the music video on YT.
@StuartHinckley
Nailed it. Took me back to 2002!
