Juwita's journey in the professional music scene began in her late teens as a backing vocalist for leading Malaysian artistes at gigs, mega concerts and prominent award shows. It was during this time that she developed her personal versatility and was often called upon to record song demos for East Asian publishing houses. In fact, it was demos such as these which were eventually released and unexpectedly caught the attention of many a curious listener. One example is her rendition of “Breathe Again”, published by Warner Music Taiwan in a Soundtrack for Mandarin TV drama series ‘The Outsiders’.
In July 2003, while representing Malaysia at the YWCA World Council & International Women’s Summit in Brisbane, Australia, Juwita performed a song she wrote based on the theme, ‘Leading Change’. It expressed her passion to encourage especially youth to use their unique God-given capabilities to make a difference in society. This received an enthusiastic response from the audience of approximately 1,000 women from over 100 countries.
In 2004, Juwita was entrusted with the task of coaching the finalists of the inaugural 'Malaysian Idol', and continued to do so for the second season. In the following years, she guest coached on reality shows 'One in a Million' and 'Mentor'. She was also enlisted on the LG MyStarz mentoring team consisting of Malaysia's top musicians.
Since the release of her debut solo album, Juwita has performed at numerous events, youth rallies and concerts in Peninsular & East Malaysia and Singapore. In November 2005, she had her first Australian Mini Tour during which she performed and presented an 'Angel' award at the National Gospel Music Awards in Canberra. Her second Australian Mini Tour in July 2006 was with the first Malaysian Idol Jaclyn Victor. Together they performed at Paradise Community Church in Adelaide, Australia for Christ Fellowship in Melbourne and at the Mt.Buller Ski Resort. June 2007 found Juwita at the Asia Pacific Youth Alive Conference in Jakarta, Indonesia with the Malaysian team that led a stadium-full of 5,500 young people in worship. In July 2007, she performed once again at the International Women's Summit, this time held in Nairobi, Kenya.

Why don't you come to your senses
You've been out riding fences for so long now
Oh you're a hard one
But I know that you've got your reasons
These things that are pleasing you will hurt you somehow
Don't you draw the queen of diamonds boy
The queen of hearts is always your best bet
Well it seems to me some fine things
Have been laid upon your table
But you only want the things that you can't get
Desperado
you know you ain't getting younger
Your pain and your hunger are driving you home
And freedom, oh freedom
Well that's just some people talking
Your prison is walking through this world all alone
Don't your feet get cold in the wintertime
Sky won't snow and the sun won't shine
It's hard to tell the night time from the day
You're losing all your highs and lows
Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away
Desperado
Why don't you come to your senses
Come down from your fences
Open the gate
It may be raining
But there's a rainbow above you
You better let somebody love you
Let somebody love you
Before it's too late
Juwita Suwito's version of "Desperado" is a heartfelt rendition of the classic hit by the Eagles. The song is a plea to a person who is living a reckless and lonely life. The singer is imploring the desperate individual to face the reality of his situation and come to his senses, to stop living his life behind fences and avoiding love.
The song starts off with an empathetic tone towards the singer, acknowledging that he has his own reasons for the way he lives his life. However, the singer also points out that this lifestyle is not sustainable, and the vices he clings to will eventually backfire and cause him pain.
The second verse urges the singer to wise up and pick his battles. The queen of diamonds represents dangerous and tempting situations that will most likely lead to failure. Instead, the singer advises the singer to go for the queen of hearts, which symbolizes love and emotional fulfillment. The chorus then reminds the singer that his reckoning is coming, and he needs to let someone love him before it's too late.
The final verse highlights the loneliness and isolation that the singer is currently experiencing. The singer paints a picture of despair, where it's difficult to tell day from night, and the person is losing all sense of feeling. The song ends on a hopeful note, inviting the singer to open the gate and let somebody love him.
