K-Ci and JoJo's first sign of independence came in 1994 when K-Ci covered Bobby Womack's hit "If You Think You're Lonely Now" for the movie Jason's Lyric. Early in 1996, K-Ci and Jo-Jo teamed up for the song "How Could You" for the movie Bulletproof starring Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler.
By July 1996, K-Ci and JoJo finally had a hit on their hands as guest artists in 2Pac's number-one R&B hit "How Do U Want It". It also topped the Billboard Hot 100. The brothers made their side projects into a full album, Love Always. Released on June 17, 1997, the album spawned two top-ten R&B hits: "You Bring Me Up" and "Last Night's Letter". "All My Life" was the number-one song on the Hot 100 for three weeks, a feat that K-Ci and Jo-Jo had never achieved with Jodeci.Love Always went on to sell four million copies, and the success of the album put Jodeci's reunion on hold indefinitely.
Their second album,It's Real, was released on June 22, 1999. It spawned one major hit "Tell Me It's Real" which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard's R&B charts. K-Ci and Jo-Jo returned with X on December 5, 2000. "X", the Roman numeral for ten, was picked as the album title to celebrate the Haileys' tenth anniversary in the music business. They made a strong return to the Billboard Hot 100 early in 2001 with the song "Crazy", also included on the Save the Last Dance soundtrack. "Crazy" peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100.
The fourth K-Ci and Jo-Jo album, Emotional, was released on November 26, 2002, but failed to find commercial success. K-Ci and JoJo released a greatest hits album on February 8, 2005. They are believed to have teamed back up with DeVante Swing and Mr. Dalvin for a Jodeci reunion album.

Ils vont fuir, ils vont me laisser pleurer seul dans mon lit
Buzuye amashari n'amarari
Mais je serais number one au Rally
Buzuye amashari namarari
Mais je serais number one au Rally
Je fais de mon mieux, I do my things on my own
Ibikorwa vyose nkora urabizi urashona
Igihe je nagenda wariko uragona
Iyo miziki mwumva irabishe irabowa
Lil K and Jokassh mwumve ni poa poa
Bose buzuye amashari najye ndi gushaka money
Ils vont fuir, ils vont me laisser pleurer seul dans mon lit
Keeping my thing on the low
Ils vont fuir, ils vont me laisser pleurer seul dans mon lit
Buzuye amashari n'amarari
Mais je serais number one au Rally
Buzuye amashari namarari
Mais je serais number one au Rally
The lyrics to K-Ci & JoJo's song "Rally" convey a message about the importance of choosing true friends over fake ones and the strength that comes from relying on family and oneself. The lyrics highlight the reality that not everyone will stand by your side when you're in trouble, with many people choosing to flee and leave you to cry alone in your bed. However, the singer finds solace in their significant other and their family, emphasizing their importance and loyalty. The lyrics also touch on the singer's journey towards becoming a stronger person, with their mother being their main source of support and guidance. Despite achieving success and being recognized as number one in their endeavors ("number one au Rally"), the singer acknowledges that true friends are rare, and it's crucial to be discerning in choosing who to trust.

Love it. Social media fucked the world up. I’m glad we didn’t have it in the 80s & 90’s. Being in the moment is better than “taking pictures” of the moment

@Lay Paris I didn’t say a full life, I said life to the fullest. U can live 2 months but live that two months to the fullest. This is why we talk about them instead of it being the other way around
