I have been recalling past memories and experiences

Today, I face similar challenges, but I am determined to outlast them

I was not prepared for the challenging journey that lay ahead, but I adapted and grew from it

Ive been talked about had to stay focused
People have spoken unfavorably about me, but I have managed to stay focused on my goals

Ain't with the ra ra but these folks love making commotion
I am not one to create fuss or drama, but some people enjoy doing so

I do not rely on any magic or tricks to succeed, but instead work hard and focus on what's important

How my life went I been fighting since a lil kid
I have been fighting and struggling since I was very young, and still am today

I admit I ain't the strongest but never fold in
Although I may not be the strongest, I will not give up or fold under pressure

Over night my life changed some people didn't even notice
My life has undergone significant change in a short period of time, but some people have not even noticed

Been bout two years now everybody saying they chosen
It has been two years and now everyone is claiming to want to be a part of my success

The New Year is approaching, and I can't believe how quickly time has passed

Only a few stayed down like damn where are you going
Only a few people stuck with me during tough times, and I wonder where the others went

Can't wait to get that victory
I am eager to attain success and celebrate it

Life shouldn't be a mystery
Life should not be a mystery and should instead be understood and explored

I stay away from the problems
I try to steer clear of problems and complications

I am not trying to make life harder for myself

I take things one step at a time and go further as a result

People know that I am fully immersed in challenges and difficulties

Young one had to go harder
As a young person, I had to push myself even harder to achieve my goals

The path I had to take got even tougher and more challenging

Despite the challenges, I kept moving forward and did not give up

Other people have tried to single me out and make me a target

For the world I spit knowledge
I share my knowledge and experiences with the world

I know others will follow my example and learn from me

If something is working well, why change it?

They gone hate but I keep on talking
Some people might hate on me, but I will keep speaking my truth

Seem like they running out of options
It seems like those who oppose me are running out of strategies and tactics

Beating me would be like outboxing Rocky or knocking out Ali — it would be a huge feat

I don't know what you've been told
I am not sure what messages and ideas others have heard

But my life cold
My life is challenging and difficult

It makes me think about my past and how far I've come
