Born March 9, 1991, Kendricke D. Brown began his musical journey in the small town of Cartersville, GA; just 40 miles northwest of Atlanta. At age 15, Brown signed his first record deal with Blackshield Entertainment, based out of Atlanta, GA, and worked alongside producers Fatboi and Shawty Redd, and songwriter/artist Kalenna (formerly of Diddy-Dirty Money). A few years later, Brown aka βK-Swagβ and the label parted ways allowing him to set his sights on larger horizons. Brown eventually changed his stage name from K-Swag to K-Major, an ode to his favorite octave on the musical scale and a constant reminder of his first love: music.
In 2010, as a student of the Art Institute of Atlanta, Brown established his own record label and publishing company, 3MG Entertainment (MasterMinds Music Group). Following the success of multiple releases including his first single βMy Songβ off of the self-entitled mixtape The MAJORity Rules, K-Major discontinued his studies and began to pursue a full time career in music. After reaching the national spotlight with live performances on BETβs 106 & Park Wild-Out-Wednesday and BETβs Blaze the Stage, his music began to spread throughout the country. K-Major also tacked on multiple accolades landing song placements on BETβs series The Game, VH-1βs Hit the Floor, ABCβs Lincoln Heights, and the WWE film Knuckleheads.
After signing a recording contract with Redzone Entertainment/Capitol Records, K-Major hit the ground running releasing controversial singles βSmashinβ and βA lot of Cashβ feat Young Thug off of his album iMJVOR. In 2014, upon his release from Capitol Records, K-Major signed a co-publishing agreement with Redzone Entertainment and Kobalt Music Publishing. Since then, K-Major has racked up an impressive body of music working alongside the Grammy Award winning duo, The Dream and Tricky Stewart, and contributing to songs by major R&B, Hip-Hop, and Pop artists such as French Montana (co-producer βMosesβ feat Chris Brown and Migos), Jacquees (writer βPerfectβ, co-writer/producer βFeel Itβ feat Lloyd & Rich Homie Quan), and Future (co-producer βSaluteβ). In the midst of writing and producing ground breaking hits for other artists, K-Major continues to create exciting new music for his fans. His prior releases include "A Lot of Cash" feat Young Thug (2014), a creative collaboration with DJ Spinz entitled "Pursuit of Happiness" (2014), "Free Yourself" by DJ Scream & K-Major (2015), and "Shut It Down" feat August Alsina (2015) off of his first independent album Category V (2015) currently available worldwide.

In "Nobody," K-Major talks about how he turned his life around by focusing on making money and not trusting anyone. The song starts with him recalling his struggles in life, the hardships he faced, and how he found a way out of it. The rapper tells his listeners that he went from being broke to making it big in life by working hard and being persistent. He mentions how he didn't have anyone to help him and nobody was there for him when he needed them the most.
Throughout the song, K-Major emphasizes the importance of money and how it changed his life. He talks about how he had to learn to love the cash more than relationships and how he can't trust anyone in the game because they might bring him down. He also mentions how he had to adapt to the people around him and not waste time on things that do not matter. It's all about the money and that's what drives him.
Overall, "Nobody" is a song about overcoming struggles and focusing on success despite the lack of support from others. It's about prioritizing what matters the most and doing whatever it takes to get there.
