Idk if it’s relevant to this band but I love that the guitarist and drummer/piano player met playing gospel music in Houston. If you can be in a gospel band at black church’s in the south you are an insanely talented musician. It really shows through in the drummers discipline allowing the guitar to fill out so much space with such unique worldly melodic structures.

Pretty sure he's using what's called a "loop station," which, is pretty much exactly as it sounds, and as you said: Asi in, he'll play the rhythm, then hit a bittn that "loops"/ repeats it over and over while he plays "lead" on top. It's quite a nifty device. But he still plays "all the parts.." He's an awesome guitarist for sure.

Forgive me im tripping on acid, but August 10 just moved me to tears, man that was beautiful. Might just be the best player to touch a Stratocaster since Hendrix. What a beautiful Strat that is too, really a pleasure to see it played so well, they are one.
Its so great how this 11 minutes 32 seconds of time and space is here, saved in eternity for us to enjoy, and still be hit by years later. those few minutes have me captivated, what a soul massage. Music is special 💚

Four years later and everyone's still talking about the drummer's incredible spooky timing. It's true, dude is a bad mamma jamma. Can we also please acknowledge how outerspace phenomenal their microphones are???!!! I played with this band at a club show back in like 2016, they were backstage arguing with the drummer because he wouldn't wear a wig. They had this vision for matching haircuts across all the members. It got really tense, but I guess the drummer didn't back down.

I was lucky enough to be in a record shop while one of the staff members was playing them,after about four tracks I just had to ask..."Maaan,who is this"...I ended up buying everything they had from them on disc,I played them in my car and my wife said the same thing..."Who is this,I really like them",when I showed her a video of them she,being a girly girl just loved seeing that Laura was so girly and rocked!
