Twilight
K.I.N Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

She's working, she's twerking, she's going to earn a Birkin
Still putting pain off the muscle
Legs in the air off the deep stroke, it's flirting
What we going to do all this space in the Burban
Gotta keep a K like a nigga wearing turbans
Came in this rap shit on purpose
Feel like I deserve it
Paying all my member's secret service
Not playing games with this music know it's worship
Worship might just start preaching
Giving young niggas free game all the secrets
Hard work know how I did this, know that I shitted
White t-shirt denim jeans with the fitted
Fly nigga sauce add some spice to the recipe
Never let the ops get the best of me
Never let the Game get ahead of me
Never let the fame put a check on me
Come to the twilight zone
Come with your highlights on
Love when you hit my phone
Tell me what's right from wrong
Aye what's right or wrong nights alone
Too many nights dirty sprite alone
Too many fights I admit that I'm wrong
Too much despite now, I'm tripping you're gone
Aye flipping my phone
Leave me alone, don't come back home
Checking you're gone
Make sure it's long
Blocking your number because I have moved on
All of her cooking know I miss your mom
Summer good-looking sundress you put on
Trying to get bookings somewhere in Nepal
The next diamond Cuban comes setting in prongs
Huh, young nigga got bars you can't rap on this instrumental
It's detrimental, my flow sounds like I'm going mental
Cheap food hungry soup with the lentils
For sure not gental
Going to the top you can't stop what Is meant to
Know we going to crop through his red suit
Run to the cops in your fed suit
Come to the twilight zone
Come with your highlights on
Love when you hit my phone
Tell me what's right from wrong
Aye what's right or wrong nights alone
Too many nights dirty sprite alone
Too many fights I admit that I'm wrong
Too much despite now, I'm tripping you're gone
By any means necessary I'm going to get rich
Stack it and flip
Going for the crown until I'm down broke hoes aren't shit
You just a bitch, you just a snitch
Never going to run to the feds get the bands up
Make sure the cash straight go pick my mans up

Fans off the back page go hit my brand up
Leaving a dust trail go pick the sand up

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to K.I.N's song "Twilight" depict a combination of indulgence, ambition, and heartbreak. The opening lines portray a woman who is working hard and using her charm to earn luxuries like a Birkin bag. The references to twerking and deep strokes suggest a sensual encounter, adding a flirtatious tone to the lyrics. The line about "all this space in the Burban" highlights the excess and abundance in their lifestyle. The mention of a K (presumably a firearm) symbolizes the need for protection in their environment.

As the song progresses, K.I.N expresses a sense of purpose in pursuing his career in rap, feeling like he deserves success. He mentions paying his team's secret service, indicating loyalty and support for those around him. K.I.N then presents himself as someone who imparts wisdom and guidance to younger individuals, using his experiences and hard work as a testament to his authority.

The tone takes a shift in the second verse, with K.I.N reflecting on a failed relationship. He expresses feelings of loneliness, regret, and the tendency to make mistakes. He acknowledges the difficulties of fame and the toll it can take on personal relationships. The line "Checking you're gone, make sure it's long" suggests a deliberate effort to move on from the past and block any form of contact. K.I.N also reminisces about positive memories, such as the partner's cooking and physical appearance.

Overall, "Twilight" seems to revolve around themes of ambition, success, indulgence, heartbreak, and personal growth. It portrays the complexities and contradictions of life in the music industry and explores the emotional struggles that come with fame and relationships.

Thanks, that was really cool. I dig that they gave the Twilight Kin that Nightstalker connection instead of just demonic influence. I think it would be even better if they had cut the abyss out of it completely so have a truly unique vibe but I guess people already had armies with lots of that stuff.
