1. Krishnakumar Kunnath is an Indian playback singer from Kerala. He is a prominent singer in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu films. His name is often confused with the similar screen name of a Bollywood actor, Kay Kay Menon.
Krishnakumar Kunnath was brought up in New Delhi. A graduate of Delhi University, he waited at tables for 6 months before he got his break, singing in a jingle for a commercial. He appeared in "Josh of India" song for the support of Indian Cricket Team during Cricket World Cup 1999. Following this,he released an album called 'Pal', the title song of which struck a chord with listeners. Another song titled "Yaaron" from the same album was also popular.
His first song for a Bollywood flick was "Chhod Aaye Hum" (Maachis). But it was the song "Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil", from the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, that brought him into limelight.
Starting off from Hindi, he sang his way to the southern part of the country, singing in Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Assamese and even Kannada; the song "Uyirin Uyirae" from the Tamil movie "Kakha Kakha" ("Cheliya Cheliya" from the Telugu movie Gharsanna) being one of the better-known songs. He has received six Filmfare Awards nominations, and a Filmfare Awards South.
Back in Bollywood, he notched up winners with songs such as "Tu Aashiqui Hai" from "Jhankaar Beats" (for which he received a National Award), "Chand Ki Roshni Se" from "Home Delivery" and the smash hit "Dus Bahaane" (with Shaan) from the film "Dus". Recently, his hit songs "Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai" from the movie Gangster, "Soniye Soniye" from "Aksar","Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hai" from "Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hai","Alvida Alvida" from "Life in a Metro" and "Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai" from "Woh Lamhe" have cemented his place as one of Bollywood's most talented vocalists.

His distinctive voice, which seems to get even clearer with the increase in pitch, and his style of rendition are his biggest assets. He created a rage in tamil with the song "Appadi Podu ". The reclusive singer finally came out of the shadows to be one of the judges in the popular reality show Fame Gurukul in 2005.
On 31 May 2022, KK performed at the Gurudas College Fest at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata. He complained of feeling unwell soon after his performance on the way back to his hotel where he suffered a cardiac arrest. Efforts to revive him at the hotel were unsuccessful. He was subsequently taken to a hospital in Kolkata where he was declared dead on arrival. He was 53 years old at the time of his death.

Ek Hala Hai Sine Mein
Har Dam Har Pal Bechaini Hai
Kaun Bhala Hai Seene Mein
Is Dharti Par Jis Pal Suraj
Roz Savere Ugta Hai
Is Dharti Par Jis Pal Suraj
Apne Liye To Thik Usi Pal
Roz Dhala Hai Seene Mein
Awaarapaan Banjarapaan
Ek Hala Hai Sine Mein
Jaane Yeh Kaisi Aag Lagi Hai
Is Mein Dhua Na Chingari
Jane Yeh Kaisi Aag Lagi Hai
Is Mein Dhua Na Chingari
Ho Na Ho Us Par Kahin Koi
Khwaab Jala Hai Seene Mein
Awaarapaan Banjarapaan
Ek Hala Hai Sine Mein
Jis Raste Par Tapta Suraj
Sari Raat Nahi Dhalta
Jis Raste Par Tapta Suraj
Sari Raat Nahi Dhalta
Ishq Ki Aise Raha Guzar Ko
Hum Ne Chuna Hai Seene Mein
Awaarapaan Banjarapaan
Ek Hala Hai Sine Mein
Kahan Kise Ke Liye Hai Mumkin
Sab Ke Liye Ek Sa Hona
Kahan Kise Ke Liye Hai Mumkin
Sab Ke Liye Ek Sa Hona
Thoda Sa Dil Mera Bura Hai
Thoda Bhala Hai Seene Mein
Awaarapaan Banjarapaan
Ek Hala Hai Sine Mein
The lyrics of K.K.'s song Awaarapan Banjarapan convey a sense of restlessness and uncertainty. The phrase "Awaarapaan Banjarapaan" refers to a state of being lost and aimless, with no clear sense of direction or purpose. The song speaks to the universal human experience of searching for meaning and belonging in a world that can seem chaotic and confusing.
The opening lines of the song set the tone for this feeling of unease, with the repeated phrase "Ek Hala Hai Sine Mein," which translates to "there is a disturbance in my heart." The lyrics suggest that this feeling is constant and unrelenting, with "har dam har pal bechaini hai" - a sense of restlessness and unease that pervades every moment of life.
The verses that follow explore different themes related to this feeling of aimlessness and uncertainty. The image of the sun rising and setting each day is used to highlight the cyclical nature of existence, and the idea that each day brings a new opportunity to find one's place in the world. Similarly, the lines "jis raste par tapta suraj, sari raat nahi dhalta" suggest that the path to finding meaning and purpose may be a long and difficult one, but that the journey is ultimately worthwhile.
Throughout the song, the lyrics suggest that the search for meaning and belonging is a universal human experience, with lines like "kahan kise ke liye hai mumkin, sab ke liye ek sa hona" conveying the idea that we are all in this together.

Feeling lost and aimless
Ek Hala Hai Sine Mein
This feeling resides in the heart
Har Dam Har Pal Bechaini Hai
Always restless, every moment filled with anxiety
Kaun Bhala Hai Seene Mein
Who can fill this void in the heart?
Is Dharti Par Jis Pal Suraj Roz Savere Ugta Hai
On this earth, every morning the sun rises
Apne Liye To Thik Usi Pal Roz Dhala Hai Seene Mein
For ourselves, we carry the burden in our hearts every day
Jaane Yeh Kaisi Aag Lagi Hai
Unknown what kind of fire has started
Is Mein Dhua Na Chingari
There is no smoke, just the fire
Ho Na Ho Us Par Kahin Koi Khwaab Jala Hai Seene Mein
Maybe a dream is burning in the fire
Jis Raste Par Tapta Suraj Sari Raat Nahi Dhalta
The path where the sun burns, the night never ends
Ishq Ki Aise Raha Guzar Ko Hum Ne Chuna Hai Seene Mein
We have chosen the path of love that is filled with struggles
Kahan Kise Ke Liye Hai Mumkin Sab Ke Liye Ek Sa Hona
It is impossible to please everyone, but we all strive for the same goal
Thoda Sa Dil Mera Bura Hai Thoda Bhala Hai Seene Mein

To stray, to wander
I have this desire in my heart
At every moment there is restlessness
Who is there in my heart
On this earth, the moment
The sun rises in the morning
On this earth, the moment
The sun rises in the morning
For me at that very moment everyday
It sets in my heart
To stray, to wander
I have this desire in my heart
What is this fire burning
Which has no smoke nor spark
What is this fire burning
Which has no smoke nor spark
Without doubt on this side
A dream has burnt in my heart
To stray, to wander
I have this desire in my heart
The paths on which the sun burns
It does not set all night long
The paths on which the sun burns
It does not set all night long
Such is the path of my love
Which I've chosen from my heart
To stray, to wander
I have this desire in my heart
How is it possible for anyone
To be the same with everyone
How is it possible for anyone
To be the same with everyone
A little part of my heart is evil
And there's a little virtue in my heart
To stray, to wander
I have this desire in my heart
