Doom
K.R.O Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

My light be shining so far
I be playing bitches like my guitar
No knee guards, don't fuck with these retards
Cover up my wounds so you don't see scars
This beat hard
And damn, you know I finish 'em
I like the booty fat like Michelin
Hotter than a couple damn pistons and
My old bitches thinking "damn, I'm really missing him!"
Ooh! but I'm really on my pimping, hoe
It's just give and go, pass her like my pivot toe
Critical, I get head like Seminoles
I'm dope, you gotta sip it slow
Yo! I be getting bills like I'm Bushwick
Love to smoke the kush quick
Like it when she mushy
Ugh! dick her down and she douche it
Huh?
Rick Ross how I push it
Yo! everyday I be hustling
Cooking in the kitchen, got shit bubbling
Baking rappers and they crumbling
I got the potion, drink a cup of it
Motherfucker, cut you up and eat you up for supper
These yellow bellies just be full of mustard
Hot knife through your fucking butter
And I ain't nothing like you other suckers
Yo, beat the beat up and then I uppercut ya
Don't fw rubbers, I be bagging
Every day to me like Halloween
And bitch, I'm chilling out on Tatooine (ooh!)
And I've been Skywalking, hoe! (ooh!)
Worried bout I, I'm never Crooked
Beginning and end I'm like a bookend
Got her warmer than my hoodie
Finger that pussy, I got a foot in
Familiar w/ the balls, she not a rookie
Cutting it up, we playing hookie
I got her looking, eat her cookie
Hmm, while I'm licking up the pudding
I said (ooh!)
Eat her fruit, they are not in the loop
Shitting on these rappers, they be number two
Bunch of old money, it ain't nothing new
Bunch of old money, it ain't nothing blue
Yo! hmm, hmm, yo!
I said, I said, I said
Bunch of old money, it ain't nothing new

Bunch of old money, it ain't nothing blue
RIP DOOM!

The references to specific individuals, such as "Free Slime" and "Free Twin," suggest that the singer and the people they are addressing are part of a larger gang or crew. Additionally, the line "I had to drop out of school for the best" indicates that the gang culture has taken priority over education and personal growth for the singer.

Like others here, I also randomly scored this on Limewire back around 2005. Whoever made this compilation must be chillin somewhere with DB Cooper in the realm of Urban Legends and Unknown Heroes. I can't find where exactly this came from. The internet has failed us!!!

@StacieCollier3384

OMG me too!! The good ol’ Limewire days.

@comster81

Seems a bunch are interested in who actually made this song, so... K.R.O. & The House Band of the Apocalypse was either an alias, side project, or close affiliate of Big Pimp Jones, and Doom (I'm the Doc) is a b-side from the 1998 "K.R.O. is on the Mix Tonight" single. I'm a big fan of the "Takin' it Back'' full-lenth album, it's real fun, and fwiw there's a few other albums as well under the K.R.O. name plus a bunch of projects as Big Pimp Jones. As far as I know Doom (I'm the Doc) was only officially released as a b-side, which ranks it my #2 most weirdly hidden classic hip hop b-side behind easy #1 Tupac Pain (also my favorite Pac song) from the Warren G & Natt Dogg Regulate single off the Above the Rim soundtrack. Sorry for the long post, hopefully someone finds it useful.

@deanesh6389

Well done! I googled imaged that song and found the 3 song vinyl. So cool

@Jacybell

So dope.

@willh1919

Thanks for this, which doesn't exist anywhere, ever. For being unproduced, it's quite good!

I have also been a massive fan of this track since I found it on a download site years ago and I've been trying to get hold of a physical copy ever since. I am not convinced that K.R.O. and the House Band of the Apocalypse has anything to do with Kool Keith AKA Dr Octagon though and it definitely isn't his vocals on their tracks. There are a few K.R.O. albums that can be found (which are pretty decent) and some Big Pimp Jones tracks also featuring K.R.O., however none of these seem to feature this particular track. It seems to come from this vinyl (https://www.discogs.com/KRO-KRO-Is-On-The-Mix-Tonight-/release/9213280) from 1998 if Discogs is to be believed. Annoyingly, another track from this can be found on an album, but not Doom (I'm the Doc).

@kotenshu

Any Idea where this is from? Been loving it for like 10 years with no idea where i got it.

@fazijslive

Same.

@FunkyJay

100% 2005 limewire days. Always tried to find this by typing the lyrics into google. Only ever found reuploads like this which didn't help me find out where this is from.
