I’m sure we all can agree Kevin Garnett was born to play basketball. I mean….when you look at the 7 foot beast of a man you can’t picture him as an investment banker, supreme court judge, or manager at your local Wal-Mart. No way. THAT guy was destined to attack baskets around the NBA with the ferocity of a Tyrannosaurus Rex before he ever set foot on a court. In similar fashion, KamB.I.N.O. was destined to redefine rap before his first word was ever breathed into a microphone….before he ever graced the stage of a crowded auditorium….before he found himself regarded as one of the best lyricists ever to promote “The Kingdom”. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, KamB.I.N.O. has lived life on both sides of the fence—from the hood to the ‘burbs, convicted criminal to hardworking businessman, from sinner to saint.
Seeing life from both ends of the spectrum has given him a broad perspective and an almost uncanny ability to make music that transcends racial, social, and spiritual barriers. While his message has helped him gain notoriety in various Christian circles nationwide, his greatest joy comes from knowing he’s being used to reach those outside of the church. “There’s nothing better to me than hearing someone say their friends who AREN’T in the church love my music. We’re supposed to be God’s body right? Well—what good are the arms and hands if they’re so focused on massaging the body that they never really reach out to the lost?” Kam has made it his mission to penetrate the mainstream music arena and infuse it with a Kingdom message. His first offering—mix cd “The Preface”—has seen many copies sold all across the nation and overseas and served as an enticing appetizer to his first solo album “Just The Beginning” which he hopes to release by the end of 2008.
He’s worked with artists such as K-Drama, Street Pastor, B-Moses, D Montrell, Rick D & Priest, the Elevationists, and has shared stages with the likes of Canton Jones, LampMode, the 116 Clique and many more. “I don‘t feel you have to be ‘overly-preachy’ in song form to be effective—especially since your lifestyle will speak with more fervor than your music ever could. At the same time, I don’t participate in nor do I condone compromise. God hates an unjust balance man…..if this music is executed properly, seeds of salvation can be planted while providing the audience with an enjoyable listening experience that is simultaneously entertaining and inspiring so…….that’s what I’m endeavoring to do. Better yet—that’s what God’s called me to do”…..
KamB.I.N.O. is a member of Columbus Christian Center in Columbus, Ohio under the leadership of Dr. David C. Forbes where the mission is to Increase Lives with The Word of God.

"We got'em!!" (laughing) been a fan of for 6 years running, and I gotta say; the game has evolved so much through the years, but I'm glad that it's still the same God being worshipped. Gospel rap continues to reach a the lost, delivering the message in a manner that they can relate to. Blessings on all of you who stan firm in the faith, and double portion goes out to Swift, the man is baaaaaadddddddddd!!!!!!
