Thinking 'bout me
Thinking 'bout us
What we gonna be?
Open my eyes, yeah
It was only just a dream
So I drive on back
Will she come back?
No one knows
I realize, yeah
It was only just a dream
I was at the top and now its like I'm in the basement
Number one spot, now she find her a replacement
I swear now I can't take it
Knowing somebody's got my baby
Now you ain't around, baby I can't think
I should'a put it down, should'a got that ring
'Cause I can still feel it in the air
See her pretty face, run my fingers through her hair
My shawty, my wife
My shawty, my life
She left me, I'm tied
'Cause I knew that it just ain't right
I was thinking about her
Thinking 'bout me
Thinking 'bout us
What we gonna be?
Open my eyes, yeah
It was only just a dream
So I drive on back
Down that road
Will she come back?
No one knows
I realize, yeah
It was only just a dream
When I be riding man I swear I see your face at every turn
Trying to get my usher on but I can let it burn
And I just hope she know that she the only one I yearn for
No more will I miss her, when will I learn?
Didn't give her all my love
I guess now I got my payback
Now I'm in the club thinking all about my baby
Hey, she was so easy to love
But wait, I guess that love wasn't enough
I'm going through it everytime that I'm alone
And now I'm wishing wishing she'd pick up the phone
But she made a decision that she wanted to move on
'Cause I was wrong
I was thinking about her
Thinking 'bout me
Thinking 'bout us
What we gonna be?
Open my eyes, yeah
It was only just a dream
So I drive on back
Down that road
Will she come back?
No one knows
I realize, yeah
It was only just a dream
If you ever loved somebody put your hands up
If you ever loved somebody put your hands up
And now they're gone and you wish
You could give them everything
I was thinking about her
Thinking 'bout me
Thinking 'bout us
What we gonna be?
Open my eyes, yeah
It was only just a dream
So I drive on back
Down that road
Will she come back?
No one knows
I realize, yeah
It was only just a dream
The lyrics of Kidz Bop's song "Just A Dream" describe a man thinking about a past relationship, regretting the mistakes he made and wishing he could go back in time to fix it. The song speaks about the pain and heartbreak he feels in realizing that the relationship is over and that he can't do anything to bring it back.
The lyrics of the song show the ups and downs of the man's relationship. At one point, he was at the top, but now he feels like he's in the basement. He realizes that he took his girlfriend for granted and didn't give her all his love. Now he's alone, wanting her back but knowing that he can't have her. The song conveys the idea that sometimes in life, things are only meant to be a dream.
On the other hand, the chorus of the song is about being optimistic and hoping for an eventual reunion. The singer appears to be hopeful about the future, asking the listener to put their hands up if they ever loved someone and lost them.
Overall, "Just A Dream" is a song that explores the different emotions that come with a broken relationship. The lyrics are relatable, and the melody is catchy, making it a popular song among audiences.
