(Ay, this a special what's happenin' to all my)
Miya hee, miya ho, miya hu, miya ha ha
(All my soldiers over there in Iraq)
Miya hee, miya ho, miya hu, miya ha ha
(E'rybody right here, what you need to do)
(Is be thankful for the life you got, why'knowmsayin?)
(Stop lookin' at what you ain't got)
Start bein' thankful for what you do got
Let's give it to 'em baby girl, hey
You're gonna be a shinin' star
In fancy clothes and fancy cars
And then you'll see you're gonna go far
'Cause everyone knows just who you are
So live your life
(Hey, ayy, ayy, ayy)
You steady chasin' that paper
Just live your life
(Oh, ayy, ayy, ayy)
Ain't got no time for no haters
Just live your life
(Hey, ayy, ayy, ayy)
No tellin' where it'll take ya
Just live your life
(Oh, ayy, ayy, ayy)
'Cause I'm a paper chaser
Just livin' my life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
My life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
Just livin' my life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
My life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
Just livin' my life
Hey, never mind what haters say
Ignore 'em 'til they fade away
Amazin' they ungrateful
After all the game I gave away
Safe to say I paved the way
For you cats to get paid today
You still be wastin' days away
Now had I never saved the day
Consider them my protégé
Homage I think they should pay
Instead of bein' gracious
They violate in a major way
I never been a hater
Still I love 'em in a crazy way
Some say they sold the yay'
And know they couldn't get work on Labor Day
It ain't that black and white
It has an area the shade of gray
I'm Westside anyway
Even if I left today and stayed away
Some move away to make a way
Not move away 'cause they afraid
I brought back to the hood
And all you ever did was take away
I pray for patience but they
Make me wanna melt they face away
Like I once made 'em spray
Now I could make 'em put the K's away
Been thuggin' all my life
Can't say I don't deserve to take a break
You'd rather see me catch a case
And watch my future fade away
You're gonna be a shinin' star
In fancy clothes and fancy cars
And then you'll see you're gonna go far
'Cause everyone knows just who you are
So live your life
(Hey, ayy, ayy, ayy)
You steady chasin' that paper
Just live your life
(Oh, ayy, ayy, ayy)
Ain't got no time for no haters
Just live your life
(Hey, ayy, ayy, ayy)
No tellin' where it'll take ya
Just live your life
(Oh, ayy, ayy, ayy)
'Cause I'm a paper chaser
Just livin' my life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
My life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
Just livin' my life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
My life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
Just livin' my life
I'm the opposite of moderate
Immaculately polished
With the spirit of a hustler
And the swagger of a college kid
Allergic to the counterfeit
Impartial to the politics
Articulate, but still'll
Grab a nigga by the collar quick
Whoever havin' problems with
Their record sales just hollow tip
If that don't work and all else fails
Then turn around and follow Tip
I got love for the game
But ay, I'm not in love with all of it
Could do without the fame
And rappers nowadays are comedy
The hootin' and the hollerin'
Back and forth with the arguin'
Where you from? Who you know?
What you make? And what kind of car you in?
Seems as though you lost sight
Of what's important when depositin'
Them checks into your bank account
And you up out of poverty
Your values is a disarray prioritizin' horribly
Unhappy with the riches 'cause you're piss poor morally
Ignorin' all prior advice and forewarnin'
And we mighty full of ourselves
All of a sudden, aren't we?
You're gonna be a shinin' star
In fancy clothes and fancy cars
And then you'll see you're gonna go far
'Cause everyone knows just who you are
So live your life
(Hey, ayy, ayy, ayy)
You steady chasin' that paper
Just live your life
(Oh, ayy, ayy, ayy)
Ain't got no time for no haters
Just live your life
(Hey, ayy, ayy, ayy)
No tellin' where it'll take ya
Just live your life
(Oh, ayy, ayy, ayy)
'Cause I'm a paper chaser
Just livin' my life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
My life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
Just livin' my life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
My life
(Hey)
My life
(Oh)
Got everybody watchin' what I do
Come walk in my shoes
And see the way I'm livin'
If you really want to
Got my mind on my money
And I'm not goin' away
So keep on gettin' your paper and keep on climbin'
Look in the mirror and keep on shinin'
'Til the game ends, 'til the clock stop
We gon' post up on the top spot
Livin' the life, the life
In the Windmill City
Got my whole team with me
The life, my life
I do it how I wanna do
I'm livin' my life, my life
I will never lose
I'm livin' my life, my life
And I'll never stop it
Miya hee, miya ho, miya hu, miya ha ha
So live your life
The lyrics of "Live Your Life" by Kidz Bop are about embracing one's life journey, regardless of the pitfalls and hardships that may arise. The refrain is a call to action for listeners to live their lives, be thankful for what they have, and not worry about what they don't have. The verses address the challenges and successes of living life in the public eye, with lines such as, "Got everybody watchin' what I do, come walk in my shoes, and see the way I'm livin' if you really want to" and "Got my mind on my money, and I'm not goin' away." The lyrics also touch on the importance of staying true to oneself and one's values, as opposed to being swayed by fame, money, and material possessions.
The phrasing "miya hee, miya ho, miya hu, miya ha ha" is borrowed from the song "Dragostea din tei" by the Romanian pop group O-Zone, and is meant to be a catchy hook that adds to the overall upbeat tone of the song. The song was originally performed by T.I. featuring Rihanna in 2008, but was eventually covered by Kidz Bop, which is a musical group that produces child-friendly versions of popular songs. The song became a commercial success, reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Hey, this is a special shoutout to all my soldiers in Iraq and everyone right here, listen up
Is be thankful for the life you got, why'knowmsayin?
Just be grateful for the life you have, you know what I'm saying?
Stop lookin' at what you ain't got
Instead of focusing on what you don't have
Start bein' thankful for what you do got
Start appreciating what you already have
You're gonna be a shinin' star
You have the potential to become successful and well-known
In fancy clothes and fancy cars
Dressed in fashionable attire and driving luxurious vehicles
And then you'll see you're gonna go far
And then you'll realize how much you can achieve
'Cause everyone knows just who you are
Because everyone will recognize and acknowledge your accomplishments
You steady chasin' that paper
You're constantly pursuing money and success
Ain't got no time for no haters
You don't have time for negative people or criticism
No tellin' where it'll take ya
There's no knowing how far your hard work will lead you
'Cause I'm a paper chaser
Because I'm always striving for financial success
Just livin' my life
Simply living life on my own terms
Never mind what haters say
Don't pay attention to what your critics say
Ignore 'em 'til they fade away
Keep ignoring them until they lose their influence
Amazin' they ungrateful
It's astounding how unappreciative they are
After all the game I gave away
Despite all the advice and opportunities I provided
Safe to say I paved the way
It's safe to say that I set the foundation for others to succeed
For you cats to get paid today
So that you can also achieve financial success today
You still be wastin' days away
But instead, you're still wasting your time
Now had I never saved the day
If I hadn't intervened or helped out
Consider them my protégé
Think of them as my followers or students
Homage I think they should pay
I believe they should show me respect and gratitude
Instead of bein' gracious
But instead of being thankful
They violate in a major way
They disrespect me in a significant manner
I never been a hater
I have never been envious or resentful
Still I love 'em in a crazy way
Yet, I still have a crazy kind of love for them
Some say they sold the yay'
Some people claim they've sold drugs
And know they couldn't get work on Labor Day
But in reality, they can't even find a job on a day dedicated to labor
It ain't that black and white
The situation isn't simply good or bad
It has an area the shade of gray
There are complexities and nuances to consider
I'm Westside anyway
I represent the Westside regardless
Even if I left today and stayed away
Even if I were to leave and never return
Some move away to make a way
Some people relocate to create opportunities
Not move away 'cause they afraid
But not because they're afraid
I brought back to the hood
I returned to the neighborhood
And all you ever did was take away
But all you ever did was take from it
I pray for patience but they
I wish for patience, but they
Make me wanna melt they face away
Make me want to make them disappear
Like I once made 'em spray
Similar to how I made them use weapons against each other
Now I could make 'em put the K's away
Now I could persuade them to stop using firearms
Been thuggin' all my life
I've been living a tough life for as long as I can remember
Can't say I don't deserve to take a break
I can't deny that I deserve to rest and relax
You'd rather see me catch a case
But you would prefer to see me get into legal trouble
And watch my future fade away
And witness the loss of my promising future
Got everybody watchin' what I do
Everyone is watching my every move
Come walk in my shoes
Come experience life from my perspective
And see the way I'm livin'
And understand how I choose to live
If you really want to
If you truly desire to do so
Got my mind on my money
I'm focused on my financial success
And I'm not goin' away
And I'm not planning to disappear
So keep on gettin' your paper and keep on climbin'
So continue earning your money and striving for success
Look in the mirror and keep on shinin'
Reflect on yourself and continue to radiate greatness
'Til the game ends, 'til the clock stop
Until the game is over, until time runs out
We gon' post up on the top spot
We will secure the number one position
Livin' the life, the life
Living a successful and fulfilling life
In the Windmill City
In the place where dreams come true
Got my whole team with me
I have my entire team supporting me
I do it how I wanna do
I do things according to my own preferences
I'm livin' my life, my life
I'm living my life on my own terms
I will never lose
I will never experience failure or defeat
And I'll never stop it
And I will never cease pursuing my goals
