Woke up cold one Tuesday

And I made my way to the kitchen
I followed my routine and headed to the kitchen, seeking familiarity and stability.

But I had to stop from the shock of what

I discovered a joyful and lively gathering of people I knew, celebrating and enjoying themselves without a care in the world.

And I thought hello new shoes
