The lyrics of KK's song CM PM explore the concept of ambition and success. The singer expresses that he is not too concerned about becoming a chief minister or prime minister, nor does he have a desire to travel to the UK or US. He acknowledges that there are certain social norms that he must adhere to such as staying in a hotel and getting married, but he does not have any great desire for accumulating wealth.
Rather, he values a simple life and good friends, indicating that material possessions are not everything. He humorously states that while he does not need a chartered flight to get around, he does not want to settle for anything less than Miss Universe as a partner. He also suggests that he does not require amritam (the nectar of immortality in Hindu mythology) to cope with laziness and that he is content with drinking beer.
The overall message of the song is that happiness and contentment can be achieved through modest means and genuine relationships with people, and that having a flashy or influential lifestyle is not necessary for a fulfilling life.
