Early life, Pony Canyon debut

In KOKIA's song "届きますように" (Todokimasu You ni), the lyrics are addressed to a friend who has passed away and are written as if the singer is communicating with their friend in Heaven. The singer pens a letter to her friend, asking if they feel lonely living alone, if they have everything they need, and what they want. She wonders if her friend still thinks of her and reveals her own thoughts and feelings as she navigates life without her friend.
