@@firesagi I know about the casting works. The Producer talking about it many times since 'The Genius' and 'The Society Game' era about putting the personality of the leader one and the calm one, the aggressive one etc etc is on check and must balanced.
What I said about contribution is about 'how timid and only riding the wave' are the other players.
They have so many opportunity to give 'big game play or big brain move' and show their capability. But they cowardly not doing it and just following the Majority Group because it gave them guarantee to survive.
One example of this is the Doctor.
She literally could lie and give the wrong number to the Majority Group (The Genius players will 100% do this) and the Producer will edit her in such a cool way with cool background music. And she will become everyone's favorite player. The chance is falling on her lap, but she cowardly does not grasp it.
But instead, she gives the reporter's number, dongjae's number and HER OWN number. Like wtf? That's like suicide move combined with noob move
Of course like you said, social skills are very important (The winner of The Genius is able to win because his social game is off the chart).
But I think Seok Jin has decent social skills (unlike JongDae), not as good as Orbit though.
He keeps telling Jongdae to not burn the bridge with Orbit group. He is also always coming and talking to other group on free time.
But when the game starts, he is soloing too much. Which make him failed to deliver on 3rd and 4th Main Match. He could learn one two things from Orbit about how to make a calculation.

I just finished watching and cried. Yes, he does not deserve that. I do not know if it is the devil's plan or..... i do not like how Joon Bin plays. Such a big mouth.

@@loa6223 Yes, it was so sad. Two very strong players, Dong-jae and Guillaume, being eliminated first was very shocking. They should have at least made it to the final rounds.
I am starting to think that the alliance of "help the underdogs" is actually a secrete plan to get the weakest players to the final rounds so that it is a easy win for a specific player. But I may be mistaken...

What Dongjae was thinking and how it come out: in the second round, he team up with seewon and seokjin (roommate) and GUI since they got many pieces. But as the third round about to occurred (the number game) , he realized that if they keep on teaming up, they will be the main target for the others to kill so he get in with two new girls who he thought they could help him dispersed the fact that he is the strong team.
Another perspective that he can hardly see as a player is the action and the way you showcased your plan has great impact on others. As you can see, this is the game of devils, nothing guarantees that the smartest will last, and the dumbest have to drop out, if he hadn’t been acting bold and cold at least he wouldn’t be deemed as the strongest players. If only he could foresee that earning a lot of pieces in a team games isn’t a good idea at all. It could lead to jealousy and rebellion from the opponents (underdogs) and his new team.
So in the first place, he should realize that once people felt a barrier to you, you should never trust them. For example: the doctor spoiling the numbers to the underdogs team. I think she deserve the 👎.

They are really intelligent. Im just mad the other group because of some stupid assumption had to eliminate Dongjae. It would’ve been fun to see semi finals with all intelligent people playing the game. Instead of people in groups going against each other.

I really hate them too until i got frustated while watching especially the orbit guy and the lawyer. what i hate the most is they pretend that they are the weak and use that excuse to keep play dirty to seokjin seewon and dongjae during game. When seokjin seewon and dongjae only want to survive and never really try to corner other player. I mean if they are just honest that they want to win with every way possible it would be more respectable than pretend that they are the weak.
