It's funny reading people trying to categorise the genre of this song. I actually made it (Tony Rapacioli) and have always seen my songs to sit just on the borders of genres. I guess if you had to nail one genre it's trance. The artist name came after a dj'ing trip to japan but the sound is most definitely is UK Gatecrasher peak time

i wouldnt call this techno, no matter what year it came out, i would consider this like tech trance, or if you wanna get really specific japanes progressive trance. This is too atmospheric, melodic and spatial for techno, japanes artists like nish, kors k , yoji biomehanika and so on, sound more like this. but becuase this isnt as hardcore as the above mentioned guys, it has the progressive aspect to it. techno is like what i wrote before, tektonik is again dj splash, basshunter, those guys
