The lyrics of Karina's song "Salvame" are about longing for someone who is not present, someone who seems unattainable. The singer confesses to kissing the person in pictures and calling out to them when she needed them. She seeks solace in someone else but knows that it's not the same. The chorus "Salvame" ("Save Me") is a plea for help from the anguish of wanting someone who may never be fully present in her life. She fears that she doesn't exist for this person, and that she'll never be able to embrace them.
The song's emotion is expressed through the sentiment of hopelessness and longing. The singer acknowledges that she may not be able to ever be with this person, but can only hope for a rescue from her own feelings. She knows that she needs to believe in her own worth, but finds it difficult without the love of the person she longs for. The song's melody and slower tempo convey a sense of yearning and sadness, with Karina's vocals capturing the emotional weight of the lyrics.

Cuántas veces lo besé
En las fotos que encontré
Él sabrá de mí
Que yo estoy aquí
No sé, no sé
Si algún día lo veré
Cuántas veces lo llamé

Si me parezco
