We all want more
As humans, we have a natural desire for more than what we currently have.

Then those twenty four hours
Referring to the limited time we have each day, which we can never get more of.

We waste on technology
Pointing out that we often spend a significant amount of time on technology which may not necessarily contribute to our well-being.

A tendency to compare ourselves with others, thinking that they have better lives or are more successful than we are.

To everyone else
Comparing ourselves to a wide range of people, who we feel are doing better than us.

What if we're who we're supposed to be?
Asking the question, what if we are meant to be ourselves and embrace who we are fully?

If patience is so overrated
Questioning the popular belief that patience is a virtue and wondering if it is worth the hype.

And everyday is what you make it then
Highlighting the importance of making the most of every day that we have been given.

What are we still waiting on?
Asking why we are still waiting on something when we have the ability to take action and make things happen for ourselves.

Oh you never know what tomorrow holds
Reminding us that life is uncertain and we cannot predict what will happen in the future.

So fall in love and hold em close
Encouraging us to cherish the people we love and to always hold them close.

And call a friend
Urging us not to forget those we care about and to reach out to our friends often.

You haven't seen since who knows when
Encouraging us to reconnect with old friends who we haven't seen in a long time.

Well the earth will spin and grass will grow
Acknowledging that life goes on, nature will continue, and things will keep moving forward.

So say all the things you usually don't
Encouraging us to be open, honest, and vulnerable with the people we care about.

It's beautiful but inevitable
Despite the beauty of life, there is an inevitability, it will end one day.

We're all gonna go
We will all die, and there is no escaping this fact.

And you never know when
Emphasizing that we cannot predict when our time will come, and that we should live fully in every moment.

We all lose sleep
There are things that keep us up at night, such as heartbreak and unfulfilled dreams.

On heartbreaks and just dreams
Reflecting on the pain of heartbreak and the dreams that we have, but are too scared to chase.

That were too scared to chase and make reality
Acknowledging the fear that often holds us back from pursuing our dreams and making them a reality.

Move past closed doors
Encouraging us to push through closed doors and to find out what lies beyond them.

Find out what they're closed for
Encouraging us to seek the reason why doors in our lives have closed, and to find new paths forward.

I hear time will tell you everything
Implying that time will bring clarity and insight into our lives, answering many of the questions we may have.

When you were a kid and you danced for fun
Reflecting on the freedom and carelessness of childhood when we dance, and sang with abandon.

You sang along at the top of your lungs
The freedom we had as children allows us to fully engage with the moment and express ourselves freely without restraint.

Cuz you didn't know
As kids, we didn't know any better, but we were happy and free.

It's inevitable we're all gonna go
Accepting that our fate as humans is inevitable, we will die.

And you never know when
Emphasizing the unpredictable nature of our lives, we don't know how much time we have, so we should cherish the present.
