But baby, I don't even need to hear 'em
It used to hurt me, used to bring me down
Do your worst, 'cause nothing's gonna stop me now
Don't let those losers take your magic, baby, yeah
Shake that ass, don't care if they talk about it
(Woah) Just let 'em talk about it
(Woah) Just let 'em talk about it
Do your thing, don't care if you make 'em jealous
We're the kings, life is just our party palace
(Woah) Just let 'em talk about it
(Woah) Just let 'em talk, just let 'em talk
Do whatever makes you happy
And screw everything else if you ask me, hey yeah
'Cause life is short and we only got one shot
So let's go balls-out, give it everything we got
Don't let those losers take your magic, baby, yeah
Shake that ass, don't care if they talk about it
Fuck all that, haters, just forget about 'em
(Woah) Just let 'em talk about it
(Woah) Just let 'em talk about it
Do your thing, don't care if you make 'em jealous
We're the kings, life is just our party palace
(Woah) Just let 'em talk about it
(Woah) Just let 'em talk, just let 'em talk
Let 'em talk about it, let 'em talk about it, let 'em talk
Let them talk, just let 'em talk, just let 'em
Let 'em talk about it, let 'em talk about it, let 'em talk
Let them talk
Boys and girls, everybody talks about you
Loves and hates, they don't really know about you
I've decided all the haters everywhere can suck my dick
Un, deux, trois, four
Let them talk, just let 'em talk, just let 'em
Let 'em talk about it, let 'em talk about it, let 'em talk
Let them talk, just let 'em talk, just let 'em
Let 'em talk about it, let 'em talk about it, let 'em talk
Let them talk
(Ok!)
In the song "Let 'em Talk," Ke$ha encourages listeners to embrace themselves and ignore the negative opinions of others. The lyrics convey a sense of resilience and self-confidence, urging individuals to stay true to themselves and not let anyone bring them down.
The first verse emphasizes Ke$ha's disregard for other people's opinions, stating that she doesn't even need to hear them. She acknowledges that in the past, others' negative comments used to hurt and affect her, but now she is determined to keep moving forward and nothing will stop her.
The chorus further reinforces this message by telling listeners not to let losers take away their magic. Ke$ha emphasizes the importance of ignoring the negative chatter and continuing to be oneself. She encourages listeners to embrace their individuality, even if it makes others jealous, asserting that their life is a celebration and they should let others talk about it.
The second verse emphasizes the importance of prioritizing one's happiness and not caring about what others think. Ke$ha suggests that life is short, and since we only have one shot at it, we should fully commit ourselves and give everything we've got. The repetitive refrain of "let 'em talk" reinforces the message that it is essential to ignore the opinions of others and focus on personal fulfillment.
In the bridge, Ke$ha acknowledges that people will always talk, both positively and negatively, but they do not truly know who she is. She asserts that the haters can say whatever they want, but she won't let their words affect her. The inclusion of the French countdown (un, deux, trois, four) adds a playful and carefree element to the song, further emphasizing Ke$ha's determination to rise above negativity.
Overall, "Let 'em Talk" encourages listeners to be confident in who they are, to ignore the hate and judgement of others, and to live their lives unapologetically. It is a rallying cry for self-empowerment and embracing one's own uniqueness.
