These lyrics come from Kei Ogura's song Saraba Seishun, which in English means "Farewell, Youth". The singer repeats the phrase "僕は呼びかけはしない" (boku wa yobikake wa shinai), which means "I won't call out." These words reflect a sense of reluctance or resignation, as if the singer has accepted that certain things must come to an end and that he won't try to hold onto them. The song also contains imagery of water, with the lines "黒い水が抱き込むように流れてく" (kuroi mizu ga dakikomu you ni nagareteku), which translates to "Black water flows as if embracing/enclosing me." This image creates a sense of being carried away by something larger than oneself.
As the song continues, the singer urges a girl not to cry, saying "少女よ泣くのはお止め" (shoujo yo naku no wa yame), suggesting that he cares for her and wants to comfort her. Throughout the song, the singer also references elements of nature like the wind, trees, rivers, and earth, saying that they all blow or laugh together with the same carefree energy. The final lines of the song mention the stars and moon, saying that they are just fleeting, shimmering lights.
Overall, this song captures a sense of melancholy and nostalgia for what has been lost or must inevitably be let go. The singer seems to be grappling with the challenges of growing up and leaving behind the innocent, carefree days of youth, while also finding solace in the beauty of nature.
