You Don't Move Me
Keith Richards Lyrics

Drank the wrong potion
You lost the feeling
Not so appealing
Why do you think you got no friends
You drove them all around the bend
You don't move me anymore
Now you wanna throw the dice
You already crapped out twice
Oh Yeah, Oh Yeah
You don't move me anymore
One face so seamy
The other don't see me
It's better that you kill the light
You're giving us all a fright
Oh Yeah
You don't move me anymore
How you gonna keep your wealth
Can't even defend yourself
Ah yeah, Ah no
You don't move me anymore
What makes you so greedy
Makes you so seedy
No matter how you flip that dime
On our side is time
Oh Yeah, Oh Yeah, Oh Yeah
It's no longer funny
It's bigger than money
You don't move me anymore
The lyrics of Keith Richards's Don't portray a feeling of disdain and disappointment towards a certain individual who is referred to as "you". The first verse of the song talks about how the person in question made the wrong choices and lost the feeling, which makes them less appealing. The second verse questions why this person has no friends, only driving them away. The chorus repeats the line "You don't move me anymore" which serves to emphasize the singer's apathy towards this person's actions, indicating that they have lost their value.
The song then talks about the person's lack of reliability, mentioning how they have already failed twice and how they cannot defend themselves. The third verse talks about the two different faces of the person: one which is seamy and the other that does not see the singer. The singer advises the person to "kill the light", saying that they are frightening those around them. The chorus repeats before the final verse, which questions the person's motives and what makes them so greedy, seedy and selfish. The song ends with the line "It's no longer funny, it's bigger than money," implying that this person's actions have gone beyond the singer's tolerance.

I know a lot of ya'll on here will disagree with me, but I LOVE Keith's voice! It's so bad and gruff that it ends up getting you addicted to hearing it! Plus, the roughness in his voice is a huge turn on...

Agreed. He needed to stay on his own and let the past go but was attached to the RS and his suckcess attachment stifled his growth an an artist. A heavy withdrawal for sure from all that big.But you really hear in this solo work , his creative vitality coming back, his blossoming voice, overshadowed for years
