Beginning in 2003, her freshman year of high school, she began writing music, accompanying herself on the piano. By her junior year she had produced her first self-titled CD, containing 5 completely original songs.
Kelley's style, though labeled "Pop", is unique. Drawing from such inspirations as Andrew McMahon, Michelle Branch, Patti Griffin, and Sheryl Crow, Kelley blends her passionate piano playing with soulful vocal melodies to produce a sound all her own.
Kelley is also the lead vocalist of her band By the Way. Other band members include Matt Santinello (Guitar/Vocals), Cody Oswalt (Bass), and John Farrace (Drums).
Kelley currently attends USC.
