Llorenna started her music career in 1993 as a member of the dance act N-Trance, lending her vocals to "Set You Free" which originally was not a success. Following several re-releases, the song stormed the UK charts in January 1995.
That same year Llorenna launched her solo career with the song "Brighter Day" which was just shy of reaching the UK top 40. In 1997, she returned to N-Trance for their cover version of the Rod Stewart hit "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" which stormed the UK top 10. She would continue to sing on their hits which included a covers of the Guns N' Roses hit "Paradise City" and the Jackson 5 hit "Shake Ya Body".
In 2001, she appeared on Flip N Fill's "True Love Never Dies" which when re-released in 2002, became a top 10 hit. In 2002, she released a solo album, called All Clubbed Up, which featured her most well-known work including a cover version of Taylor Dayne's "Tell It To My Heart", which went top 10 in October 2002, as well as a new version of "Heart of Gold", a song she originally recorded with Force & Styles back in 1998
In 2004, Llorenna reached the UK top 15 with a cover version of Donna Summer's hit "This Time I Know It's For Real". Her new single "Nobody like You" is due for release in October 2006.
Between 2004 and 2006 Llorenna made guest appearances on EMAP's Big City Network and 97.6 Chiltern FM.
Llorenna is also left-handed as you can see her writing her signature in the N-Trance video "Set You Free".
More recently Llorenna has continued her solo work with All Around The World records, releasing I will Love Again, Dress You Up and Keep Love Together to coincide with the release of Clublands 10, 15 and 12 respectively. She is now a respected name within the world of Club music
Dress You Up
Kelly Llorenna Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Satin sheets and luxuries so fine
All your suits are custom made in London
But I′ve got something that you'll really like
Gonna dress you up in my love
All over, all over
Gonna dress you up in my love
Feel the silky touch of my caresses
They will keep you looking so brand new
Let me cover you with velvet kisses
I'll create a look that′s made for you
Gonna dress you up in my love, in my love
All over your body, all over your body
In my love
All over, all over
From your head down to your toes!
In Kelly Llorenna's song "Dress You Up," the lyrics depict a woman who recognizes the luxurious lifestyle of her partner but knows that she can offer something perhaps even more valuable: her love. The first two lines of the song state that the singer's partner is highly regarded by other women for his impeccable style and lavish possessions. The lyrics emphasize that all his suits are custom made in London, accentuating the fact that he can afford to spare no expense on his wardrobe. However, the chorus suggests that the singer can offer something that is priceless - her love. She wants to "dress him up" in her love, all over his body.
In the second verse, the singer describes the physical sensation of her touch against her partner's skin, suggesting that the caresses are capable of keeping him looking new and fresh. She wants to cover him with "velvet kisses," which could be interpreted as her being soft and gentle with her love. She mentions that she will create a look that is tailored to fit him perfectly, again emphasizing the idea that her love is custom-made just for him.
Overall, the message behind the lyrics is to show that love can be the most important thing, not the material possessions that one collects in life. The song suggests that although it's nice to have expensive things, the feeling of being loved and cherished is worth more.

Everyone is proud to sing Madonna's songs because she is the Queen of Pop...
Andrew Barton
Madonna didn't exactly write this song, so would have no say in Kelly covering it.
Ditto the Temperer sampling Material Girl, as she didn't write that either.
She did have a say in Dannii Minogue sampling Into The Groove.
