Consistently blowing distortions and intense energy, Kelompok Penerbang Roket have released a debut album titled Teriakan Bocah (Screaming of a Kid) in 2015. Produced by one of Indonesia’s finest guitarist, Didit Saad. The album contains 7 songs echoing protests, critics and honest depictions of Jakarta and Indonesia.
And howled loud did Teriakan Bocah. The album, released by Berita Angkasa Records, was reputed one of the best albums of 2015 by various mass media in Indonesia. Rolling Stone Indonesia honored the album as best album of 2015, proclaimed: “Teriakan Bocah is a work of young rock scientists that revives the savagery of 70’s Indo-rock. Imagine Duo Kribo hooliganism or early Panbers psychedelia modernly processed, with a significant dose, becoming a fresh, wild monster.”
