Boothe seemed, at the time, to have the makings of an international, long-lasting, hit maker, certainly when compared to most of the other latter-day reggae acts. His smoother style gave him a wider appeal, rather like UB40 and Aswad. Boothe's choice of songs also showed the breadth of his musical taste. But for all that, he only managed one more hit in the UK Chart, "Crying over You", which made Number 11.
In more recent times, Boothe has also recorded for Bunny Lee, Phil Pratt, King Jammy, Pete Weston, Jack Ruby, Hugh "Red Man" James, Castro Brown, and Tappa Zukie. Plus in 1995, he teamed up with Shaggy, for a new styled version of his old track, "The Train Is Coming", which appeared on the soundtrack of the film, Money Train.
A double-disc overview of Boothe's Trojan years, Crying over You, was released by the label in 2001.

Your Feeling and Mine
Ken Boothe Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
1. I hurt your feeling
And you hurt mine
But I still love you more than anything
In this world, you're feeling and mine
2. You got me crying girl yeah
I'm going up down, down up
Loosing weight by the ton
Yes it is oh
Here is my love, take it all girl
Here is my heart, take it all girl
Here is my lip, kiss them again girl
Your feeling and mine will never be hurt again
No yah got to yeah
3. So let's get together yeah
and get together yeah
And baby where you go I go
You stay I stay, everything will be just great
Yes it is your feeling and mine
4. I hurt your feeling
You hurt mine
We've got to have this thing going
Make love to each other
We've got to love one another
We've got to love
We've got to love
The lyrics to Ken Boothe's song "Your Feeling and Mine" are a powerful expression of gratitude, acknowledging all of the blessings and lessons that life has to offer. The repeated refrain, "Hallelujah," is a cry of joy and thanksgiving that is woven throughout the song, underscoring the deep sense of appreciation and worship that the singer is experiencing.
The verses of the song are like a litany of thanks, as the singer acknowledges all of the different aspects of life that have brought them peace and happiness. They thank God for the little things that have made a big difference, like the rain and the wind that wash away their troubles. They also express gratitude for the larger gifts that have been given to them, such as the happiness that has come after a period of tears.
The song also speaks to the power of teaching and learning, thanking God for the lessons that have been imparted along the way. This is perhaps the most important theme of the song – that life is a journey and a process, and that every step along the way is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to become a better person.
